Title: GTM Monster Truck Challenge

Hi guys. I just made another Championship. This is Similar to PTC, but it's kinda all about luck, because I'll be driving monsters in a game called "Monster Trucks Nitro" One Season includes 25 races.

If you want to make your own truck, you can get the templates here
If you want to build a chassis yourself, Look over here
When making own chassis, send me the finished chassis shape without the body Structure. This makes fixing & skinning easier.

Remember to save it as .PNG

Since I got now new and Completely different monster truck game (Monster Truck Madness 2 changed to Monster Trucks Nitro), I will RESTART the season. And This will be the 2012 season. Now, the results of Desert Rally (Wildcards are still in use, if you're not in this, You got eliminated on Wildcards)

I'm gonna add 8 random entries into this, because I don't like the wildcard thing. It's much fair if there are 32 entries. You can still enter of course, I'll just pull out one random entry every time someone enters.

I'm also making 2 more different looking trucks for this... Here's Project #1, Pontiac body project. it needs to be made larger, and fit into monster truck...

I would say that the entry is technically serious, it's just the paint job that isn't, and that should be fine. Like with NFS:MW where you could arrange decals  to make the car have a phallus running up the side of it.

why yes I do.. I use layered PNG files which work the same as PSD's then export to high quality Jpeg to keep file sizes down for uploading

Was going to post this when the forums went nuts.  Anyway here's a suggestion for a game you could use for this called Rigs of Rods which uses soft body physics and you can build custom vehicles, in this case monster trucks.

It's very moddable. It's completely open source so that's basically what the game lives on.

Just a custom truck I threw together using the bare chassis template.  A hearse based monster I call Last Rites.  If I ever decide to enter it I'll send a blank version of the body.

Which one? I had NASCAR Racing 2, NR1999, NR4, NR2002 and NR2003.

They still make an updated Cup mod for NR2003 every year.

It has the controls displayed on the screen... And yes, pressing escape will exit the game.

That's called torque. You can't just mash the throttle like in most games. You actually have to use some throttle control or the tires on whatever vehicle will spin and you'll go nowhere. It is designed to be a simulator, after all.

if youre trying to pause and find some sort of controls screen you should probably try P. in 95% of pc games the pause button is either ESC or P.

ESC shuts off Rigs of Rods, P does nothing iirc. Pause break is your best bet and to exit a vehicle, Enter.

Changing controls (aka if you wanna use a wheel) is a complete and total (REDACTED) and it's one of the few put-offs of the game. Otherwise, modding it is easy as balls. Gotta have some of the modeling/modding/whatever knowledge though.

Not really fan of RoR right now because of the steering and unable to mod...

But I bought "Monster Jam" from steam today. Physics are horrible, and the game is just unrealistic, sadly.

Was bored so I decided to make another truck body based on the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.  As for the name, I did some digging recently and was surprised to find that no truck (at least on record) has been named this.  I personally would have this truck's freestyle theme be "Feel Invincible" by Skillet.  This is just a rough draft of the truck though, plan on editing it.

Well if anyone does still remember this, I'm just curious as to what would you folks would've had as the freestyle theme for your trucks. As for my futuristic truck, The Machine, I would've had one of Nickelback's latest songs, "Feed The Machine", playing during it's freestyle run.
