Before I start; I know, there is already a Minecraft thread up, but I wanted to make my own thread regarding my MC server.
Anyway, I have started a Minecraft server just now (within 5 mins ago). Not using anything fancy, I haven't built anything yet, and it is a server for GTM members only. I know nothing of spawning stuff ect, so I'll just treat it a Single Player with some other people building and to chat to.
Note; I have not tested this server, so can Simone try to log onto it with either 90.221.13.41 or 90.221.13.41:25565
This server will be up most of the time, even when I'm not using my computer. I leave it on 24/7, so the server never/hardly ever shuts down.
A few simple rules;
Anyone caught greifing will be banned
No killing other player for no reason.
Looting from chests is allowed, but everyone has the right to kill the looter. =P
Do not kill anyone unless they have looted a chest in the past 10 or 15 mins. No spawnkilling, once or twice is enough.
Don't build everything out of cobblestone, and nothing stupidly high. Apart from that, you're free!
Thanks for taking the time to read. Enjoy!

Just remember that I port forwarded on my old computer, with XP. Now I have Vista, which is not only S**t, but it has admins. My control-freak parents decided to make me a non-admin, so I can't port forward. That, and our sky router is the most useless perice of crap when it comes to port forwarding, nowhere does it give you the option to where the other routers do.

"Do not kill anyone unless they have looted a chest in the past 10 or 15 mins."
Bullsh**. Just because it happened in the past does not mean it is harmless
*poof*

I'm fixing up one of my old computers as a minecraft server so I can probably host one, if there's enough interest. It's far from a high-powered machine, and java is garbage, but it runs well enough under linux.
