hi guys.

where can i get addons (mostly weapons and rp mods) for gmod? i want them so i'm not swimming in a sea of flashing ERROR's.

ok, that semi-worked.


i've tried 3 times now to get PHX 3 and it failed every time. is there a sure-fire way to get it?

Yes there is:
1. Download and install the latest version of Tortoise SVN (http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/)
2. Make a folder called PHX3 in your Addons folder.
3. Right click on the folder and then click on SVN Ceckout and then insert this adress to it when it asks: https://phoenixstorms.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phoenix-storms/
4. If it asks for passwords or username, both are: anonsvn
5. When ever you are told to update PHX3 you just right click on the folder and select SVN Update.

i tried that and it had an error. then i retried it and had the same error. i'll try again from scratch tonight.

also, how would i get sounds into the game that are not already? i have a great idea for a sound for the front door of the Fortress of Steel.


Edit: outdated news, but i retried and it worked. now i need to figure out how to do a trebuchet...
