I didn't find the original Gmod Thread so I decided to make another. Here's a random creation of mine I did in a Sledbuild server during a GTM Skype Call.

I generally go to a random Sandbox server to build stuff, generally wood cars. And we basically destroy each other's cars in an enclosed arena.

I keep my priorities straight.

Sounds Pretty good idea. It's easy to build an Arena. All I need to learn is to make the bots move properly

Couple of Arenas I found.

Arena 1

+ A lot room to build robots at the backroom
+ Pit Works
+ You can drive your robot to the Arena
- Floor Flipper Doesn't work (...yet. I haven't figured out how it works)
- Too large arena

Arena 2

+ Room to build robots at the backroom
+ Pit & Floor Flipper are working
+ You can drive your robot to the Arena
+ Elevators to the control points
+ Spinning Blade in the middle of Arena
- Few Textures are missing

Arena 3

+ Great Textures
- No room to build robots
- Floor Flipper & Pit aren't working
- You can't drive the Robot to the Arena
- Bot can't be thrown out from the Arena

Arena 4

+ A lot room to build robots at the Backroom
+ You can drive your Robot to the Arena
+ Simple and nice

I'm planning a GTM Gmod Robot Combat tournament. Are you guys interested?

You could just search on Steam, but it's £5.99.

Another thing to note is that you will probably need to get The Orange Box and Counter Strike:Source for textures, otherwise, you will end up with a lot of purple and black checkered squares, or big red 'ERROR' signs.

If we really do that tournament... There is 26 Tables, and 25 of them are currently Empty... Picture taken from the Arena 2 backroom.
