What does your inventory look like?

I have way too much to count.
-
Only the PS games I've ever had.
To many games though, I think I have about 90 something.
-
Impressive. My list isn't as long, and you'll probably be able to guess that I have a preferred company:
- Nintendo 64 / 5 / 1
- Gameboy Color / 7 / NA
- Nintendo Gamecube / 11 / 4
- Gameboy Advance / 12 / NA
- Nintendo DS / 9 / NA
- Nintendo Wii / 6 / 2
- Sony Playstation 2 / 2 / 1 + 2 dance mats
- PC / 11 / NA
I don't buy games for the sake of collecting, I have to really, really love them in order to purchase them.

Same for me too.

I have:
The good old 8 bit Nintendo: About 12 games for it, but most of them dont work, specially that awesome 500 game disk :/
PlayStation1: Ummm... I would say about 67 games (of wich 6 are NOT copied xD)
PlayStation2: Aroung 30 games for this, none are copies on this, because I dont wanna risk this playstation. The PS1 doesnt start up 75% of the time because of the modchip.
Computer: I dont know how many games I have for this, so lets just say OVER 9000!!!!

Just a question for you console enthusiasts. I'm heading off for college in 4 days, and I'm debating to buy a console to bring up. But between consoles there is alot of dis/advantages.
PS3 - Great console, VERY expensive for games/controllers and the console itself.
360 - I hear it's alright but never really liked how you had to pay for online play, and how would I if pay when I'm up at college.
Wii - My family owns one but I personally hate it due to the kiddie games. I hear there are a few good games such as House of the Dead and Cruisin'.
-
Well, im a PS fan, so I would get PS3, but it really is your choice and it all depends on what games you want to play. I would also suggest PS3 because you mentioned that you wont be able to afford online play on 360. All you need is a cable from a modem or somewhere else whre you get your internet connection and shove that into the PS3 and you have connection at the price of the reqular internet.

I mostly play the virtual console games.

I can only speak on behalf of the Wii, but here goes:
I've found that while most of the Wii games are "kiddie" there are a few hidden gems. The Mario franchise games were, for the most part, incredible. I've never personally tried House of The Dead or Cruisin', but if you think they're good, you've got to trust your instinct. As a general rule, look for games where that don't use motion-sensitivity as their main selling point; that's a sign that they put more effort into gameplay than gimmicks. It goes without sayind that if a game allows you the option of using a Gamecube controller, always use the Gamecube controller.
If you're into real high-def graphics, the Wii is not the system for you. All of the games have perfectly acceptable graphics, but they aren't as sharp as those of the other systems.
In conclusion, the Wii is a good choice for casual gamers who don't mind seeing the same characters in all of their games. Get it if you're a Nintendo fan, and if you do, I recommend checking out the old Nintendo systems' game library, there's some good stuff there too.

Actually the upcoming Metroid game is impressive because Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden fame) is teaming up with Nintendo to make it.
-
I hope they make another 2D Kirby game...

I almost forgot about the Wii HD, it's bassically a Wii with graphics comparable with the XBOX 360 and PS3, it is planned to be released next year, if I remember correctly.
-
I like the DSi.

*gasp*

No it isn't. Nintendo has Wii games lined up all the way to 2011, they aren't going to make their system go out of date before then. It *might* come out in 2012, but I still doubt it. Besides, I think the Wii is fine as is.
And to those who complain Wii games are kiddy, there are *very* adult games for the Wii. Look up a game called Madworld.

Sega Dreamcast + 3 controllers & appx 100 games (most of them burned copies from a friend, and an NES emulator with appx 100 games on that too)
PS2 + 2 controllers & appx 40 games
Gamecube + 1 good controller (damn they break easy) and appx 20 games
Xbox 360 + 1 controller & 5 games
Nintendo 64 + 3 controllers & 10 games (mostly Pokemon)
Kensington Onestation Portable & 5 game catridges with 99 games each of the NES era emulated and a couple oddities that i have no idea what system they are from.
in my closet I have a N64, Genesis, NES, and a Dreamcast that i have no idea if they work, picked them up at a yard sale.
I sold my Turbo Grafix 16 because it sucked... and I sold my Sega CD which I regret. Sewer Shark, Rise of the Dragon, and Stellar Fire were awesome games... and that Night (something) game too. The one where you have to protect a house full of teenage chicks from zombies by setting off traps at the right time. Good Times Good Times.

Nes with LOTS of games
All the gameboys up to the one that flips open and probably 20+ games
PS2 with 30+ games
Gamecube with 6 games(I sold a lot of them to buy my PS2. I probably had like 15 before that)
PC with RA2 and Age of Empire
The only ones I actually use anymore are the PS2 to play MVP Baseball 2005, Gameboy to play pokemon pretty rarely and PC for Ra2.
