Post by: Incredirobotwars on August 16, 2011, 10:12:58 AM: This is gonna be the biggest, best looking, and overall greatest driving simulator ever (well, on Xbox anyway). So...who's getting it? Also, don't be douches and include GT5 in this, K? This isn't an argument thread over which is better. It's just so's we can talk about the game. So...
...what with the partnership with Top Gear, the monthly updates, the 80+ manufacturers, and the online owners clubs and group garage sharing, this is looking like an absolutely awesome game.

You can't say it will be the best racing game then say we cannot discuss this. I agree it looks good but we cannot be sure until we try it out ourselves.

If you want arcade racing, go forza. If you want real sim racing, iRacing is the best option

I'm saying you cannot just state "it will be the best and there is no argument" and expect people not to argue. I am not disagreeing with you that it has the potential but we cannot be certain that it will really be that good.

iRacing (PC exclusive) is generally accepted to be the best simulator on any platform.

And I will probably get it for my b-day, it's coming out near it IIRC.

Forza IS a simulator, go NFS shift if you want arcade.

Anyway, it looks good, and we can all wait until October to see how it fares. It's just that, looking at the stats, it could easily tip the balance in the driving simulator world.

Which will be paid for DLCs, don't forget. I bought a ton of them on Forza 3, not worth it, but they do contain some epic cars. ;)

If you already have a 360, Old, Elite or Slim, Kinect still works with it. It's an add-on, not a part of the console. Think an extra controller, but you're the controller.

Pushing it a bit. Maybe more Black and white, how diverse is the logo creation? With a few orange bands.

Okay, Okay...
Still, not sure it's quite there yet. Maybe a bit more orange then? It's a bit faint at the moment.

Also, when I tried making the orange darker, it just became too red to resemble that associated with GTM. I wanted the Orange to just be detail, though, and much more will overpower the design a bit.

Anyways, I am working on a trio of 'Black-Rain-style' cars...I did need to make some higher powered, S-class cars.
I'm not sure how many cars can be transfered, to be honest...

GT5 was a good competitor for Forza 3, not Forza 4.

Different platforms, different purposes, different years. Literally no comparisons can be made fairly.

I've put some Black Rain themed cars in the club garage, and will make one more of them before making a preview video (I might need the help of two other club members to make this), so if you want to join the club to check them out, feel free.
