ive been playing a lot of forum games lately on other sites (i have way too much free time) and i was wanting to know if i could start up a forum game is there a rule against it or can i try to get one going?

It has to be in Playground, and as long as it follows the Junkyard Rules, you're good.

Perhaps not, but just about every other non-troll forum I've gone to had a designated section for foum games.
