3DS sadly is not running Flipnote yet, and I dunno if the new version (Flipnote Memo) will have Hatena functionality. Reason #1 why I'm keeping my DSi.
Also I'm part of a series on Flipnote called Attack of the Sandbag run by this guy: http://flipnote.hatena.com/51864E501E18A524@DSi/
It's a SSBB story type thingy (you need to watch some of the episodes to get it). My guy is pretty obvious just by his name (try to find him lulz)

It looks like the global sharing system is going to cost money, though the software apparently supports exporting your creations as .GIF or .AVI.
