Warheads SE
« on: July 26, 2014, 08:12:38 PM »
Warheads SE is a really old game from 1995 that is like worms in space. The planets have gravity and stuff and you get a ton of various weapons to fight with, including ones that you create in the weapons editor. The guy behind it seems to have died or something because the most recent update is from November of 2012, but thankfully the last update before he went added compatibility with 64-bit and Windows 7. Its a lot of fun and I suggest you guys check it out.

holy **** i've played this game like 10-12 years ago in a friend's house and it was hilariously awesome (honestly better than Worms even), been searching for the name but never found it, and then forgot about the game

thanks for sharing that

I rediscovered this game and that very same site 1 year ago. I really wasn't expecting at all knowing people that played this!

been playing single player. it's pretty cool

well EXCEPTED for the shots and ships that spend 1 minute in space instead of landing on a planet...

Wow, this game seems to have been erased worse than Robot Arena. The only mentions of it are a small group on Facebook, this thread, the warheads website, an old thread on the GoG, and a few small old posts on gaming overview websites. There's probably like less than a thousand people still playing it. It would be cool if Nerdcubed did a video on it and gave it the attention it needs.
