Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD
« on: July 18, 2012, 07:10:50 AM »

Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg

Out for 360 now, or at least supposed to be. According to facebook no one can buy it. You can download the demo, though, which gives you a whole 90 seconds of warehouse goodness!

Might get this, only if it doesn't crash during saving like my Project 8 game where I was forced to lose EVERYTHING I unlocked, TWICE because it always froze, gaaaargh!

Been playing through it just now, it's good! I'd recommend it, have yet to try multiplayer though. And it doesn't have Chad Muska and Bucky Lasek, annoyingly.
It does have this, however.

For whatever reason I rule the world when it comes to THPS1 with a Gamecube controller...

Any other system, not so much.

Tempting though.  It's been a while since I enjoyed a skating game.

I'm a skateboarding fan, this is a definate buy for me!

Played every single Tony Hawk game up to Proving Grounds, THUG 1 was the best of them all IMO

I personally think THPS3 was the best. But THUG1 was definitely very good.

Agreed, that one was good too, but the series went downhill around American Wasteland/Project 8

Project 8 was only good for Earl Jason Hickey Lee.

Though I have to admit, American Wasteland and Project 8 had a pretty decent soundtrack. Though I think THPS 1 and 2 had the perhaps the best track of them all.

Project 8 was only good for Earl Jason Hickey Lee.

COACH FRANK!!! (Who also appears in Skate 3)

The soundtrack was the only thing THAW had going for it, really.

Very tempted by this, seeing as I haven't played the first two, only THPS3....

Anyone else bought this and wants to play online? I'm bored of having people going "THIS IS BULL YOU FAG" and ragequitting.
