So Yea, Ive been playing this a lot recently.
Its quite enjoyable.

A few of the Golden Banana challenges are a pain, but aside from that, this game is awesome.
Oh, and it breaks the 4th wall all over the place.
(....A lot like Pinkie Pie does)

And the versus mode is just flat-out badass.

I remember playing this.  One of the best adventure games for the N64.
 
Even just messing around on the overworld with Diddy's jetpack was a blast.
 
I remember the boss fights were exceptionally good.
