I positively love that game. Anyway, Talk about it here.
-
I did have it a few monts ago, not sure if i do anymore. It was good but not as much fun as RA2
-
i used to love that game! don't go on it much anymore though due to its lack of components and such
-
Same with me.
-
This was a good game while waiting for RA2 to come out.
-
^ yeah the replicas were nice
-
I'm wondering, could anyone be able to make some of the bots in the game, like Robotica, or Odin? It would be a very awesome AI pack.
Does anyone know where I can find images of the bots?
-
Most of Battlebots and Robot Wars replicas are in DSL
-
Not the ones like Razer and panic attack. The ones you could make in the editor, like Alley Cat, Fang, Xmas destruction, Timber, Driller Thriller, Chainsaw Massacare. Those ones.
-
The fake ones.
-
The stock ones. Sheesh.
-
It is pretty cool, especially the variety of arenas and the arena's music background (awesome for some, like the Russian base and the American foundry), these are better than the RA2 ones. The different tournaments too.
but RA2 is WAY superior in bot building.

Why would robots be fighting there?

i actually still have this game; i completed it in about a day! I have an awesome SHW, it has a bevelled wedge chassis, lifting front spikes(the cheap ones), big built-in flipper, and spikes and triple spikes anywhere else.
It is so effective cos it can flip bots over easy, or if the have srimech, or something i can just push'em round into traps and stuff, i did it with sgt. bash.
-
I had something seeming like that too...
A titanium armored HW ram/flipper hybrid, with 4WD IC engine, the big one (damn the IC engine owns), something like 6 spikes and 1 ripping spike, and a built in big flipper. Low cuboid. And it's great.
All my other bots in weight classes were worse.

Spambot, Spambot, How I HATE the spambots.
-
He's now removed....
-
Yay!
-
I have it, but I haven't played much since I got RA2 a few years ago.
-
Same here.

Ah, you have it too, ACAMS?
-
I have Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction on my Xbox, but I haven't used my Xbox much since I got my Wii (miss you Halo 2 :()
-
In have a unopened (shrinkwraped) copy of AOD. them uk guys shipped me 2 copies.
I think I was the only one to really mod the game. I added a few new "components" to it. yay me.
-
AOD was fun but the bot building was far to limited for my taste, especially the painting. I beat it just to say I did and haven't played it much since.
-
^^BUMP!^^
-
Does anyone know how to get the music off of this?
-
compared to ra2, aod sucks.
-
Actually hydro i wouldn't agree with you there maybe the first one isn't that great and needs a few tips from ra2 but the second aod is AWESOME!
-
oh sorry bit wrong there the second one is extreme destruction not aod
-
I thought that AOD was the second one?
-
AoD was fun, but I wish they had tightened up the flipping physics. The only robot I could use to flip guys out of the arena was Behemoth.
I felt pretty damn awesome when I pulled that off.
