Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3
« on: December 06, 2010, 06:56:45 PM »
Yet another game I want but do not have and yet I still know lots about it....

Discuss here.

Personally, I like the Soviets because their army uses lots of tanks, and zeppelins. The Empire's mechas and psionics seem silly to me.

I can now say that im pretty much over this game. It jsut ddnt meet the requirements to keep going for a long peroid of time, im not good in multiplayer and singleplayer gets old fast, wich makes me bying this and the expansion Uprising a waste of money. Havent touched either of them since my last post in the thread GK posted.
Also a warning, steer clear of CnC4 it is NOT CnC anymore, its a freak mutant. As in it looks amazing but they forgot to focus on actual gameplay, as usual for EA. As the parody of their EA Games: Challenge everything, EA Games: F*** up everyting.

C&C:RA3 doesn't even feel like Red Alert anymore. EA already screwed up the Red Alert series by making this. Red Alert 2 was good, also with Yuri's Revenge pack. just to bad that there is no Vista/7 support.

TEECH MEE! I must play Red Alert 2 again! If you also have something for the annoying problem of not being able to see/join LAN servers would be neat.  Then it would be Game on!
Tough im on XP atm, but my freind has W7 and I belive he might want to have a go at this game again, even tough he doesnt care about RTS games anymore.

unpatched it works on Vista. but the patch you need for multi, made by EA, will cause it to stop working on vista. on 7, even unpatched it will not work as far as i experienced.

So thats the problem then... Me and my freind have First decade versions wich are pre-patched...
