Colin McRae DiRT is one of the best Rallygames ever. I played this last time on 2008, and now I installed it again. :gawe:
Any Questions?

And this is why you shouldn't play simulators on Wii. Wii's mostly for arcade-ish games. PR's right, gaming experience also varies between consoles.

:O WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN? I though I had to buy one of the 2nd Gen consoles to get it.
I probably will buy DiRT 3 for PS3 when I buy said console :P
Ken Block FTW :gawe:

it happened when they also released it on PC?
i got it for free with my videocard. i am seriously happy with it.

yeah I remember seeing that.. I wish I could go for a ride with Ken Block. He is an awesome driver.
-
same here. i like how some people are just scared there. i would enjoy it tho.
-
I wish Ken Block was the Stig.
-
well..there is currently no Stig so he should apply :P
-
I'll try to make a Crash Compilation vid before I go back to Jämsä... *Downloads Fraps*

i should, just for lolz, film a race or a rally in DiRT2. might be a nice addition to my review.
-
i think we should have a time challenge on dirt 2.
Any one up for it?
-
do i... smell a challenge?
-
It seems so.
what console/s do you have it for.
-
PC... i had gotten a free Steam key for it with my last video card =P
-
lucky you
my pc would not be able to run it at all.
Hell mine can barely run NFS prostreet last time i tried.
If we get more than 5 members wanting in on the challenge then it will happen but it may not.
-
ok... so you don't have it on PC then.
and its not luck, its buying hardware and assembling it myself.
-
i meant lucky you for getting the steam code for dirt 2 with your card.
Edit : Your post is 1111
-
now it is 1112
that way, yeah i know. didn't know i would get the key for it with the card. i just bought it because my old one (Radeon HD 4850) didn't want to work properly anymore. so i got a Radeon HD 5870. before, i never actually bothered looking into this game.

Well made myself look like an idiot on the forums back there since I didn't know about this thread. Anyway, I did acquire DiRT Showdown and I find it very enjoyable, mainly since it has a good destruction derby game mode, something we haven't seen since FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage.
There are three classes of cars in Showdown, Demolition (Demolition Derby cars), Race (racecars such as wingless sprints, trophy trucks, stock cars, etc.), and Gymkhana (Hoonigan) cars (rally cars and the only cars in the game that exist IRL). Favorite class for me has to be Demolition.
Favorite mode for the Demolition class has to be Rampage. Works just like FlatOut: UC's Deathmatch mode, whenever you go down, you respawn at the top of one of the entrance ramps. All you have to do is then is nail the gas and get back into the ring and cause some more havoc.
Favorite Demolition car......that would have to go to the Kohler G350 pick up. I have it using the Monster Energy livery at the moment, as a result it's painted just like Ricky Carmichael's Camping World Truck Series truck.

I haven't played DiRT series for a while... I got all DLC's to DiRT3 though. My favorite cars are probably Fiesta WRC & Scion tC when it comes to Gymkhana....

I got colin mcrae 3...

For me it has to be the Ford Mustang GT. Due to it's rear wheel drive, it's easy for me to get the back tires to break loose yet have enough traction to keep it under control and spin it around the smallest obstacle.
As for Race class, favorite car there would have to be the Duke Coupe. It's supposed to be an early version of an open wheel modified, complete with a car body as the cockpit rather than the custom ones seen today.

Disappointed with the dirt modified in DiRT Showdown. You'd expect a throaty roar from it's engine and instead it sounds like it's powered by a weed wacker motor.
