Creatures

http://creatures.wikia.com/wiki/Creatures

In like 1995 or something this scientist/programmer made this game where you raise and train little creatures. What's so significant about it is the amount of depth and complexity you get to train these creatures. You teach them vocabulary and names for certain things, teach them what to love and like, and other stuff.

So if you so wish you could train a creature to call you "God" and run away whenever you beat it. If you do this then people will hate you like you're an animal abuser.

Have any of you guys ever heard of this game? There have also been some sequels that add more vocabulary and features.

I have a disc for Creatures 2, and, when I was younger, I remember getting quite annoyed when the AI decided to go a bit naff and they decided that they would just not be able to find the path to where I wanted them to go. I do remember enjoying it though.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

I read about it and people said the Creatures games were extremely difficult and that your Norns can die so easily.
