Played it, enjoyed singleplayer, even if it wasn't as good as the original and criminally short. The multiplayer made me want to rip my hair out, though. Terrible weapon balance, BS knifing, throwing knives, whining kids whose balls haven't dropped yet, etc.

Singleplayer, 8/10
Multiplayer, 3/10

In other words you lost a bunch, got mad, and decided not to play again.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Campaign was easy as heck. I usually just play through CoD games on veteran and this was easy. Want frustrating campaign? Play World at War. Relentless was such bullsh** and to this day and i have not beaten it. CoD 4 levels are also kinda hard.

Lol sage, you don't know the crap that goes down in that game. People play objective based games and sit in corners, infinite grenade launchers, knifing people across whole rooms, infinite running, bitchy little kids.

I'm usually the one doing all of this so I have no complaints :P

I'm in an interesting position with MW2 right now. I keep playing it for some reason. Through all its faults, I still have fun playing the game, it never fails. No matter how bad things get, the next round always goes better.

World at War was HARD for me, even on recruit. The tank level- unbearable. I also was killed so many times by Banzai attackers.

In MW2's multiplayer, I'm doing ok. I mostly play team deathmatch, and end up getting killed (sniped, noob tubed, knifed, ambushed) more than I kill people.

I have all the call of duty's out including the different versions for different consoles (Example Call of duty 2 on the PC was/is different from call of duty 2:The big red one on the PS2) and for me the best was The first and second.

@Inplabth thats the same for me

@Scrap i agree with you on the flaws and assholes with n00b tubes and i got so pissed off that i made a back-up class just for pissing people off.

I will post it here if people want.

Heres my ultimate pissing off class.

Primary :ACR/M4A1 w/Grenade Launcher
Secondary :Any handgun with Tactical Knife

Equipment : Semtex

Perk 1 : Marathon
Perk 2 : Danger Close
Perk 3 : Commando

Death Streak : Martyrdom

The idea is to use the grenade launcher and when you run out of ammo for that run around with the tac knife.

This is what I usually use:

Primary: SA80 L86 LSW silenced (digital camo)
Secondary: Spas-12
Equipment: Semtex and Flashbangs

Scavenger
Stopping power
Steady aim

Primary: Vector silenced (digital camo)
Secondary: Spas-12
Equipment: Semtex and Flashbangs

Scavenger
Lightweight
Commando

Some of these may be wrong (not exactly what I have laid out), so I will check when I play again.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

If you want to piss people off, use Ak w/ tube, cuz it changes to the tube in half the time then others. As for the games, all of them are fun up to MW2, in MW2 its really only fun with friends....as long they don't use tube, commando, yell in their mikes when they die, etc. In regular multiplayer, its only fun when you challenge yourself, like using 1 pp or randomize your class. I think if you search, you can find some class randomizers.

I dont get annoyed at the actually online game play (Except from the servers take ages and the lag), but what does annoy me are the people that cant get kills based on pure skill but instead resort to things like lag switches and modded controllers.

Modded controllers take the fun away from the game when people take guns like the FAL which have really high damage but low rates of fire and change the rate of fire which is like combining the damage of a FAL and the accuracy of an ACR.

People using tactical knifes and grenade launchers dont really annoy me because they are in the game for a reason. If infinity ward didnt want them in the game then they would have taken them out so i dont see why people get so annoyed over them. They are part of the game.

If people would stop leaving and getting annoyed because of how other people are playing and concentrate on their playing then they would find that they would get a lot better and it wouldnt bother them as much.

What i do if i come across someone running around with a tactical knife or a grenade launcher is, i pull out the class i mentioned earlier and beat them with it which shows when i come face to face with someone and we are using the same weapon is i will beat them and if i cant it shows they are more skilled with that weapon than i am and i accept that.

I saw a video (a three parter) by Nextgentactics called "Only losers use overpowered weapons and perks", where this guy plays search and destroy using "overpowered" weapons and perks. He would only get at least 1 kill each round, and when playing or spectating, he would critique enemy or friendly players' loadout, and killstreaks used. He would say stuff like: "he's using a pavelow! They're so overpowered!"

I find these people annoying. They're just being whiny about the fact that they aren't "pro", and take each loss as their killer's fault because they are using an LMG, rather than the fact you ran into a grenade that you clearly saw a danger indicator for.

I keep getting killed like 25 times in each match, and ending up in the bottom of the scoreboard. Could I get some tips to get better (I'm already at lvl 20)?

What is your play type like.

What i mean is do you rush forward or stay back and cover the others?
Anyway the main tip from me is :
Dont stay in the same place for too long and run from cover to cover or you will be spotted and killed.

I can post some of my good classes if you like.

Well my advice is to run to about just under halfway and stop and wait for them.

Then just pick them off one by one as the run to you.

Or get to a good advantage spot and pick the off.

I will send you a FR next time i on the xbox and ill show you some good advantage spots for maps if you like.

Thanks. I was thinking of recording a match, and showing you. How I record my Xbox is beyond me. (To google I go!)
