Seriously, what game type do you like the best? I go for puzzle, RTS and topdown any day.

Mine would be: Racing, RTS, Puzzle, Sandbox(GMod) and GTA style action.

FPS, racing(so... sports? Don't play football games or anything like that though, so that could lead to missconceptions), third person depending on the genre of the game. Used to be big on driving aswell. As in Driver. Or The Italian Job =P

BTW, Zelda is not a RPG. Its an action adventure game. Final Fantasy would be a better example.

What is an RTS? Or for that matter, ASCII?

I have to say that I perfer specific games to game types. For example, I love Halo and Left 4 Dead, but I can't stand playing Call of Duty (any of them).

My other favourites are RA2 (duh), NHL 09 (Xbox), and The Bigs (a baseball game for the Wii). I also like Guitar Hero, but I don't play it as much any more. I played Maplestory and Roller Coaster Tycoon too.

EDIT: @ FC: RTS is real-time strategy.

And Pokemon also rocks :P

I have all game consoles and handheld consoles from 1990-Now, so you could say I am a VGN(Video Game Nerd).

At this point all I am playing is Halo PC. However, I have played through Resident Evil 2 and I was also into racing games at one point.

I like very simple RPG's; the Mario RPG's are some of my favorite games ever.

I have:

Atari VCS (2600)
Odyssey 2
Sega Master System
Sega Genesis
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo
Super Nintendo
N64
Gamecube
PS2
Xbox

All of which are hooked up and ready to play at any time. :D

So I guess I'm a video game nerd, too.

Edit: And of course I have the PC...

I play some FPS especially Doom, Halo and Quake. As far as RPGs go I have most of the pokemon series (on my DS/GBA) and GTA Vice City and San Andreas on my PC.

Oh yeah and RA2 of course :D

Yeah, but I would freakin' kill for the original Odyssey. They go for thousands an Ebay.

Atari 2600 would go for thousands also.

Cool, but I hope that Retro Duos are better made than FC Twins. I had an FC Twin, paid $70 for it at a local video game store (I know now that I got ripped off), but the Super Nintendo game connector broke loose, and now it's junk. I still use the controllers some though, as they are the same as a Super Nintendo controller. It's is hard as heck to find an original Super Nintendo controller without all the turbo switches and crap.

I have 55 original Nintendo games...

And if it is a square controller, they weren't designed to be ergonomic.
They later released newer version of the Nintendo that had "dogbone" controllers much like the Super Nintendo.
