That's kind of like what mine looks like :P Try not to enter that, haha.

Also, guys, I may have tracked down a guy with a copy of the original game. Anyone remember Masterath? He didn't make that many posts here but I believe he entered a tournament. Anyway, he made a Bamzooki vid about 5 years ago and he's still active on YouTube. I commented on his most recent video asking him whether he still has a copy of the original game and he says he does. Hopefully, he'll provide us with a copy and we can have more than just 3 events :D

Ah, sweet news.

EDIT: Proposed 'classes' of zook.

4 sizes using the base squares as measurement

<12 squares - Small

12-30 squares - Medium

30-56 squares - Large

>56 - Unlimited

Or it may be easier to measure in terms of volume with a max size cube.

I've been really enjoying this game.

EDIT: Proposed 'classes' of zook.

It might be easier to measure in terms of length/width/height/weight as seen on the info screen for each zook.

ALSO: How do make them have not-abysmal turning circles?

In that case have base area within a certain size.

Say 100cm2 max for "Small"
400cm2 max for "Medium"
900cm2 max for "Large"
And anything goes above that.

As for turning, there are some options in the movement menu for the base body part.

How do make them have not-abysmal turning circles?

Check the motion tab for the brain body part of the Zook (this'll be the one you started off with) and one of the sections should have sliders for the Zook's ability to turn. I believe they are sharpness (how sharply the zook turns) and sensitivity (i'm not sure how exactly this effects the zook, usually I put this at 50-75, works for most Zook designs.) How sharp the turning should be is usually dependent on the Zook's traction.

Sorry if I'm not quite right there. I may be experienced, but I mainly used this when I was about 10-12 years old. My knowledge on building has deteriorated a little.

I just extracted the folder somewhere.
Then there should be 3 shortcuts in the folder for the zook kit, simulator and movie thingy.

Well, you'll see what the path it's looking for is. It'll be Program Files x86/Bamzooki, so just replicate that. Take the Bamzooki folder out of the Bamzooki Masterath folder and plop it in your Program Files x86 folder.

For those having issues launching the game, change the 3 shortcuts to "C:\Program Files (x86)\BAMZOOKi\ instead of Program Files, because Bamzooki was made before even Program Files x64 or x86 was a thing. Also, do you think anyone else has a copy of the game with some of the online uploaded zooks on it? Would be interesting to find some of them.
