Maybe it's actually a good game, I don't know, but I always laugh inside whenever I see an ad for this game because it has what has to be the most generic RPG name ever.  I mean come on, AdventureQuest?  The two words are synonymous!  It's like making a fighting game called FightBattle, or a racing game called MarathonRace.  You couldn't come up with a more generic name if you tried.

If it was like a spoof/satire RPG, then that would be cool.  But you can't make a serious game with that name and expect people to take it seriously.  Or at least I can't.

I'm not much into MMO's though, so if there is a good game hiding behind that silly name, I won't find out.

Ima now into playing Maplestory, which is much better :D

I played AQ, even became a Guardian. Was fun, but you barely won any money so i got bored. Might go into it again though.

I played it a long time ago. It was decently amusing, but it was a little too chaotic and random in the way it worked, making winning really just up to chance. Unless you payed to become a guardian, of course.
 
To answer Clickbeetle's question, it is full of puns, references, and jokes, so you are kinda right. For example, finding the four pieces of the Quad-Force to defeat the evil beast gannononan. (Zelda Reference)

i dont like 2D mmorpg games

i used to play AQ but got to lvl 59 then got bored at enemys with 10600hp it would take hours to kill them...
i am also a gaurdian on it

Mostly Scania, buut its stuffed up on me, and its being a pain to fix. Hopefully Ill get it up soon.
