You're, ummm.....Hyper. Lol anyway that's fairley good for a newbie,
1) but try to get some half sheet wedges on there and I think Irons are better weapons for rammers.
2) use the normal control board
3) use more powerfull motors
4) shrink the chassis

Tip: Post individual bots and follow advice to make them better, then take lessons from those bots and put them into new bots later.

So advice for the first bot:
good with the extender work. I like it (not full of pistons with 1 weapon on each)
Build all the way to the weight class`s weight limit, and try to minimize empty space to save weight from the chassis. Also: you should use the fast NPCs if you have the weight, they are better.

And putting batteries in your bots helpos too. It makes them work.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

both of the bots have batteries there just hidden (Ouch E Waffle has them under the CO2 and spinning waffle has them under the motor)

It is not bad for your second bot but could be WAY better
1) Too much empty space
2)you almost built to the weight limit
3)try to use better weapons instead of razor tips
4)flail.If you dont know what this is then all it is is when you use a dsl axle on the side plate and attach the weopon to the axle
5)what armour does it have?
other than those things it is pretty good!

The shell spinner doesn't look bad at all, but the chasis can be made much smaller. Just because its a shell spinner, it doesn't mean that the chasis has to be round. By making it recangular, you could save a lot of weight.
How many ants does it have? It needs atleast 3 & would be much better with four or five.

For a newbie, it's pretty good i guess... but you really should stop spamming about waffles.

This is serious thread.

Oh and use AX2550s if you have the space.

ORLY?

For the first one, I recommend using just 1 piston and attaching your weapons to just that one.  Also, shrink the chassis and remove one of the air tanks (you won't need it when you have just one piston).

For the second one, I also recommend using a smaller chassis.

I think waffles are awesome as well.  :)

In all 3 cases, you have more weapons in KG.

Besides, razor are fine for the shell spinner.

This I agree on, but just because your bot has more weapon weight doesn't mean its weapon is always going to outlast your opponent's.

QFT. I'd recommend Harpoons if he's using NAR AI. If not, then Meat Tenderizers, 30kg's, 60kg or 70kg's are probably the best hammerwise. If you're not using hammers, i'd recommend - to stop dancing - Using a mix of Small Dsl Teeth and Flail Razors, Like on Black Cyclone 2 in NAR AI.

Of course.  A lot of non normal weapon with bad collision mesh still lose consistently for their KG.  Things like frenzy hammers, SK drill, and potter wheels are simply pathetic in weapon vs weapon.  Other factors include hitting extender works, touching the ground (no damage), stacked (stack weapon sucks for weapon vs weapon), angle of contact, movement speed calculation (or why pre-made disk sucks), and damage rollover (razor only got 1000 hp, anymore damage will simply be lost).

However in your examples none of the conditions hold, you simply have a lot more hammers in KG that are making direct contact with the razors.

Just tested.  Solid hammer does seem to have an advantage over solid razor in weapon vs weapon contact.  Razor damage is also highly affected by the way it is facing, whereas hammers not so much.  So I suppose high concussion weapons does make better "weapon vs weapon" candidates than high pierce.

Pretty good bots you have made, just too much wasted space as others already pointed out.

OK enough of this weapon discussion, back on topic (hopefully Badnik can deal with that IP address problem so Waffles can post another bot).
