4 small are plenty, 4 large are better, but 4 small are still plenty
4 small have worked OK for this so far, and its still more powerful than it needs to be :D

Oh, and the JX guards are on the flippers, and its those that make it more effective than most other flippers
Or you could just use BSGs :P

I'll be surprised if you come up with a flipper variation that I haven't built for SkAI High :P

I made a Beta Rear hinged/ 2 BSG front hinged flipper once.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I like experimenting with the angles of flippers and their placement. 4 BSGs with their flipper blades meeting at one point can nearly be as powerful as a 4 SJXs. Give it a try, it may save you a tonne of weight.

I'd downgrade to aluminium side stabilizers if I were you (or maybe even just two angled shell panels, although they might be a bit too weak)

The chassis looks quite large, is that just the angle of the screenshot?

Fair enough then, maybe it's the stripes you put on it, making it look bigger ;P

I love it. Nice and compact, great job getting 6WD on it. It's a front-hinged flipper, amirite?

Would have entered this into BoF if Badnik had allowed BFE to chassis height

Steel 10, actually :P

The concept was to make a Bonx inspired bot, and it needed to be a MW, and considering spinners are going to be hitting the chassis for a three minute match, it needs some pretty heavy armour
