First would be better with less armor, large JXs and maybe weapons.

GENERIC NAMES ARE GENERIC LOL

Anyway, do what Nary said and you wouldn't need the Lightning spike on Whiplash. If you want a weapon, you should find a way that when a bot rides up the wedge, the static weapons hit it as well.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Hate SNS! So boring!

That hurts man. Hurts real deep. :P
It wasn't even that bad of an SnS either.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

First would be better with less armor, large JXs and maybe weapons.
This robot isn't designed to do damage, & the flippers are powerful enough already. If I used large JX's, I would need more ants & a higher chasis, resulting in less chasis armour, & bad drive.

Anyway, do what Nary said and you wouldn't need the Lightning spike on Whiplash. If you want a weapon, you should find a way that when a bot rides up the wedge, the static weapons hit it as well.
Whiplash had about 15kg left over & it couldn't quite reach titanium 3, I couldn't find any other way to use the weight, I would gladly remove it if I needed the weight.
Bulldozer wasn't designed to do damage

Really? It barely beat 360 arc pounder

SnS vs. SnS is only good for making boring matches, not gauging the effectiveness of an SnS.
You need to test it against other bot types. Inevitably it will lose against some types, but its a better way to gauge its effectiveness, and find weaknesses.

Also, LW SnS are not as effective against other LWs as HW SnS are against other HWs, so keep that in mind if it does not dominate every bot it faces.

I gets too confusing with some components being legal in NAR AI & DSL. Isn't NAR AI just a new set of tougher AI, so why are there extra components?
I don't actually have NAr AI but I have seen others using razer claws so I was Just wondering.

NAR AI is a MOD... not only a new set of AI but since v2.0 there is component rebalancing and new parts.

My goal is to make DSL not only more of a challenge, but i want to introduce more variety as well.

New robot:

(Currently Un-named),
4 ants, slimbodies with hypno's, plastic skirt stabilisers, weapon magmotor, dsl bars with heavy dsl teeth, aluminium 3.
Very destructive, haven't come across a LW that it can't beat yet!
As always, feel free to post comments, any name suggestions are welcome.

I think that you are at least ready for NAR AI v.1
And don't worry about the components, just copy over your components folder from your old game and everything works fine, besides the fact that a few bots don't work. Nary should really release a copy with only DSL parts...

Very, very, very nice!

Except for the 3mm alu (3mm plastic is better), I have a bot similar to that but with a longer weapon reach. :D

Well well well...

Vertigo, you are the same skill level as me. Can you do popups? If so, you're better.

Well done sir.

Ok... then turn the hinge 180 degrees. So you'll be able to save 2 kgs by using 2 forward 80 cm skirts and 1 backwards 120 cm skirts.
