1-hit kill is an overstatement, but they're decent bots.  I just recommend having some sort of hinged wedge to get under opponents better (like a skirt or flipper segment or something.)

My Spike Beetle II or III is a robot which can kill others in 8 seconds. ;P Well only few bots but that is fast.

But anyway I have show offed way too much here right now. Nice looking bots. Especially I like the lower bot's chassis design. Very nice design. I like its m -like back of the chassis.

Also looks like they have very much torque in the weapons because they are very short. They could be very mean machines or not. Depends on how much you are ready to add stuff there. Like those front hingers because they would prevent others to get under you so easily.

Heres my very old idea, on how to get under opponents bot
« Reply #4 on: November 04, 2006, 07:16:10 AM »
This is my first robot ever :) i made it back in 2003, when i first got the game :)
After few revisions the first version looked like this. Sorry i cannot post the 2.9 and 3.5 revisions(i lost them, installing the DSL mod :( ). But here's the brief info: the 2.x revisions had back extension (two weals on the bottom and
defense on top, which made cool damage and had a gripping quality) and the 3.x had tank tracks, which made the hits softer, with more damage (1500
to 2500 per hit, comparing to standard version of the game).

Now that's a cool-looking bot.  Great jorb.  Try using a skirt hinge to attach the spike strips instead of baseplate anchors.  It should work much better at getting under opponents.

Thanks! :)
I've already tried the hinge, doesn't work well, in fact, i don't like the idea of that hinge: doesn't look good and it's a little bit cheatie...
But thanks for the idea anyways :)

Wow man. I really like your bat mobile. That's how bot should look out. Very cool and still effective.
