I honestly think we should have a 3000kg class, where most people hit a building speedbump (or is it 2500 kg ?) 5000kg just is too big and crashes the game.

What should it be called then? Super-ultra-Giga, are there any words to fit In between?

we could name it catchweight

ya know

A catch weight is a term used in combat sports such as boxing and mixed martial arts to describe a weight limit for a fight that does not fall in line with the traditional limits for weight classes.

since we are establishing this a couple of years after we did all the others

ah, piston drive.

You don't actually need the spikes. Also you can make it tougher by putting up outside storm pistons... it will change a lot the bot's apparence though.

I... I think I've quit. Lurking and posting where I feel it's needed from time to time. I was never particularly good, but I tried. Never really succeeding, but trying all the same.
This is what I spend my time on now

Time for a game of 'which one?'

A: Crabhammer mk 1

B: Crabhammer mk 2

C: Crabhammer mk 2.5 'stalkeye'

And now, a new hw:

Plastic 5, can't remember the weight, Mandible

Thoughts?

Mk 2 is my favourite one out of those, but only because it looks like the stalks on 2.5 would get in the way of the weapon. If they don't then that one would be my favourite, as it's certainly the best looking imo.
Mandible is pretty cool looking too, especially the front claws. It would look even better with 4wd, but you probably would have to re-do the chassis.
Overall, pretty nice bots :)

Mk 2.5 has the stalks kind of act as a scoop and clamp, so if it gets under anything it grinds away, so thanks! :)

Well I could try to get it to SHW level but I think it would be outclassed by everything, but thanks a lot :)
Overall, pretty nice bots :)
Cheers mate :)

Crabhammer 2.5 looks the best and probably is the best if it is better than MK 2 in battle.

I don't particularly like top spinners, so I won't say anything about Mandible.

I just find then quite cheap, is all. They all look the same to me too... To be fair, Hurricane by RedAce made me wanna like top spinners a bit more but I just don't like them.

2.5 looks the most interesting imo.
