With regards to armour, Naryar's DSL tutorial lists Plastic 5 as a good armour choice, Titanium 5 as an excellent choice, and Aluminium 5 as a very poor choice, so with this in mind I would stick to Plastic 5 unless you can get it up to Titanium 5.
This is probably my favourite robot of yours to date, my only complaints are the halfsheets and the spike on the top, which I don't think fits with the design too well. Otherwise, looks good to me.

Do you really need a dual perm though? You could probably go with a 4-mag or even a 2-mag and still be spinning that thing pretty fast. Also I agree with Chickenado, your beater setup looks dumb.
