Well they both have the same chassis shape, same weapon, plow. but would you like me to change the skin, if not, what can I change?

Not sure why you have the beater bars vertical on the end of the horizontal bar on the LW. If the reason is that it can't reach lower robots, then you could consider trying to very slightly angle the motor downwards to hit lower targets. You might have to separate the extenders for the motor and the plow somehow to achieve this.
To make the HW look more like the LW, if you made it 2wd and gave it bigger wheels I think it would look better. Changing the skins so they match would also help. Also, the LW has the weapon mounted outside the chassis quite visibly, whilst the HW has it inside the chassis.
HW looks quite cool though.

I'm gonna note the differences:

Shape of robot (The father's shape is rotated 180 degrees compared to the son)
Different wheels/Different wheel amount
The weapon of the father has a drum and a spike on the top.

There are the things that the robots look different to me. I know they're relatable but I don't think they are similar.

Also, what motor are you using to power the weapon of the son?

Just saw this. He is right about the wheels thing but I don't think that skin matters much, but it helps.

Btw, I don't want to seem like I am putting you down for making these robots. I think they're cool but, in all honesty, I don't think that these guys will make the cut.

I'd change the name but other than that it looks pretty good. Can't imagine the weaponry lasting long either/

TM3r or whatever it's called

And yes lemon the beaters are for hitting lower targets, so I'll see what I can do.

Ok, tomorrow I shall make a version 2 and see if I can make them similar, sound good?

Why? Byte, kilobyte, megabyte and gigabyte are gonna be the names of the bots I'm making, they're all data units

But thanks for your complements and advice overall :)

But what are your thoughts on the bots not thinking of tournament rules? Also what do you think of speak swimmer and the teeth of the shark?

Okay, that's fine. I thought you were using the cheatbot2 reversible motors, is all.

Yeah, sounds good. I will always try and encourage people not to give up making a team for my tournament, considering I know how hard it must be to make two similar bots of different weight classes.

Also, not thinking about the tournament rules, I think these bots look pretty good.

Personally I think a robot called Teeth of the Shark need more than one tooth, maybe you could downgrade the drive a bit in order to get more teeth on the robot?
Sleek Swimmer looks pretty good. I like the fins on the top, my only real complaint is the decals on the top and sides look slightly out of place. Maybe you could replace them with gills or something?

Ok, thanks again for the complements lemon and yug1tom :), I'll see what I can do with what you have said, so we have

Fixes

Father and son team
Sleak swimmer
Teeth of the shark
Bots in previous pages that need fixing

bots to make

Chew 3
Axelon 3
Byte bots
More cool IRL bots
My beetleweight basher
HW IRL bots for some tournaments

And I think that does it, anybody else feel free to drop some comments

Ka boosh byte 2!

(will change the name)
Much improved stability and control
Yug1tom, you think these are ok? I think they look similar

and I have a question, which of these BW's should I use in Red's tournament? are they judged in style control damage aggression? Or in just damage? But these are the two BW's

And

Which one should I use or should I make a different one?

The matches are judged by the points from the damage given at the end of the match. Also I would allow Tripod would seem a little more legal of the two you are planning and S.Y.E has a skirt hinge wedge which I won't allow.

Regardless, all look pretty decent in my opinion.

Tripod. S.Y.E wouldn't do too good, imo.

Woot woot! That's two yesses then. I'll try and improve the concept of tripod tommorow and then send it because I think I need to improve the spinner, sometimes it hits and other times doesn't.

Hopefully there's a space for me tommorow x[

But thanks for the complements as well :)

By the way, I am just waiting for my thread to be reviewed by a moderator and then the NHB tournament should be underway (for the voting stage that is).
