Just wondering, would a judge burst axe be a good weapon of choice in this tournament? That was my idea for a heavyweight.

Or maybe one of these:

A Dsl 2.1 reincarnation of slash(see first post)

A Dual beta burst flipper

A Rammer

Which one sounds best?

B.O.B. had one and did fairly well in BattleBots:

Axes don't have a very good combat record in BattleBots, but then again neither do rammers really. Build whatever you think looks good and performs well.

Well based on that information, and the fact its freaking awesome I've gone for the remake of Slash, one problem is I can't find the samurai swords in any of the menus

UPDATE: Just needed to get rid of cheatbot2 and I got the system I wanted, now its about 400kg so lets see what I can do with the weight

Samurai swords are in the same menu as bear claws.

Wow, quite alot of double posts today, just a bit hyped in ma bots

3 swords, rear hinged is powered by a judge burst where as the two front hinged ones are powered by BSGs

Tita 10, NPC fasts and I think thats pretty much it to explain about it.

Thoughts? Good idea? Ok to enter?

wedge doesnt look good and its kinda cutting close to popup territory imo. Make the wedge look better and have work more like an axebot and I think you'll be good.

Make the bot less tall, and make the sword setup more simple. Don't use angle connectors.
Make the skin look better (give it an actual texture instead of solid red + that edge outline), and build to the weight limit.

Good weapon power
Balanced
Improved design

Bad

Haven't tested out the damage it gives yet
don't know if its a popup, you class it
need to add sponsors in order to enter
The swords keep the ground clearance high

This is looking waaaay too messy. Try looking through Scrap Daddy's showcase to seem some quality IRL bots.

It's hard for me to explain, you really just have to get the right feel for it. Like no extra extenders randomly hanging off and stuff. Here's a link to the las page of his showcase, you can go back from there.
