My first SHW appears:

Tita 5 this time, bit slower and the insides are virtually the same apart from the new position of the burst motor and new batteries

Thoughts?

Looks a bit bulky to me, maybe you could make it shorter?
I like the idea of the weapon itself, looks like some sort of evil death rake :P
I think it would look better 4 wheel drive, but then you would risk making it look like a generic Tornado type bot I guess.

It's given me a cool idea of my own though, I may give that a go later.

Could get much lighter if you downgrade the armor to 1mm Titanium or 3mm Plastic.

The Natster's DSL showcase of inquisitiveness

Just thinking I should up this up a bit more and showcase bots of all DSL, time to get back into DsL 2.1 since all tournaments use it.

Anyway I am going to kick DSL 2 building off with my Battlebots 9 entries (Remember to tell me if they're IRL, the tournament is)

My LW, Chew

Tell me if you would like to see insides

Its supposed to be a sort of drill
I just wanted to create something wacky and weird, but is it IRL?

Well I could just go and show the insides, the weapon is mounted on a horizontal piglet

I don't thing there are any 360 degree axle mounts in DSL 2.1

From what I understand, FS' (Face Spinners, Ala Rapid Pit Bull or anything with a spinning disc on the front like a drill of sorts) is almost automatically not IRL. Same goes to pop-ups.

But Chew looks.... unique. Should wait for the more experienced members to give advice. Also, might wanna replace the baseplate anchors with Multi extenders instead, they're lighter and smaller.

In DSL 2.1, you only need one ant battery per spin motor, burst motors (Mag snappers, judge bursts and what not) still require the listed battery power. Does VU use a judge burst or a mag snapper?

I do believe there was a face spinner on RW once, might be wrong

Aren't multiextenders not IRL? I swear they aren't

VU uses a judge burst, thats why I want it to have good batteries to power the damn thing

There was? Huh. Better wait for the more experienced members first. Or build a back up LW in case Chew gets rejected idk

As long as they stay in/completely out of the chassis they're fine. No peeking through the chassis walls kinda stuff.

I see. Looks pretty good to me, let the older members decide for the batteries tho.

Good idea, will do.

Yeah BattleBots (IRL) had a few face spinners, I think that whole no FS campaign was because of a really really bad IRL bot Garvin entered in the first BattleBots.

If we could see some closer up shots of the bots that might help.
