I beg to differ. I'm not trying to toot my own horn but take a look at Jaws of Defeat. It's got a 7-1 record and it doesn't have a wedge.

If it's a slower rammer I'd say wedge. If you are going for speed forget the wedge because it has a higher chance to bounce and the wedge can get in the way of the weapons hitting the opponent. (there is a reason why I've never bothered to showcase JOD2. It had a wedge and it caused the other bots to ramp up and over the top :P)

See? It has slim drive which is good enough for a wedge to be effective but not enough to deal decent damage. :P

But yeah, a wedge will be irrelevant if it has mag drive.

That's stock, man. As if there's a stock LW popup with fast drive, strong armor AND a shallow wedge. :P

Dude, it's middleweight.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

TBH, rammers are pretty much always going to lose against popups anyway, I prefer to spam weapons instead to make it more efficient against other bot types

I was referring to Sage's notion that Longbow's design can be effective against DSL LW popups.

My point exactly. Stock LW popups can't have a speedy drive, decent armor and be damaging all at the same time. Which is why AoN designs can pwn stock LW popups but fall flat against DSL LW popups. Which is why that comparison is invalid. :P

Funky, albeit impractical setup you got there.
