New bot!

Ribbon Snake 3, to be replacing Ribbon Snake in the next NAR AI, or the one after, depending on when I finish the rest of the team.

2 ants, plastic 1, invertible, wedge to keep hammers off the ground, so they do damage.

Cool!

I understand the reason for the wedge, but to me it seems like it would keep opponents from hitting the hammers.  If this happens often, consider using something shorter than a skirt, or (I really don't want to say it...) the other side of the skirt hinge.

Good job. I just am wondering if it will end up like Conficker.

Conficker wasn't exactly invertible, and that's what killed it. This should be invertible (since mine is), but I'm still worried about its damage potential with that speed.

Conficker failed because of low maxspeed, and this is pratically a clone.

LW Hammer Rammers fail anyways though...
They never score much, they are meant to last out an opponent

To an extent. They as a LW type really just cannot get the big hits, and wasting all the weight on the hammers means you sacrifice armor, and also leave the chassis exposed, a recipe for disaster.

That's true. LW Hammer Rammer vs. Razor Rammer, I think 80% of the time, the Hammers would win, if it's like Somebody's last one. Razor rammer will score a huge amount of points early on, but then they'd all just break off, and the hammer rammer would slowly rack up the points over the whole three minutes, probably outscoring the Razor rammer in the end.

Exactly. But against Flail SS, or popup, the rammer doesn't have a chance. (well, if its lightning quick like 1.8 it does, but not big lumbering ones like these)

It's true wth low damage weapons, but a razor spammed rammer has more than a chance against a FSS.

I am talking about weapon loadout, not max speed !

Anyways, 140 kgs of weapons on a LW is overkill.

Bot I built a couple months back

Shows my idea for superdrums. This has 108 small beater bars on 8 drum components and two hex plates.

Not very good as a fighter, more a proof of concept
1200kgs exactly
Built off of my drum in NAR AI (like Super SnS, a HW with weapons to get it up to a SHW)

This thing grinds off parts like nothing I've ever seen (even better than Flail shell spinners), takes off steel extenders in a second or two.

Do to the fact I cannot build SHWs I am unable to help you. Though I'm currios on how you got more than 4 rows of beater bars on one full drum.

He has 4 different drum rotations for each motor and chained beater bars after that.

It's 3, d00d. 3 clicks apart. If he had 4 drum rotations, there would be 16 rows. :P
