Any chance of a shot from the back? =)

And I think some of the attachment points of some components are a little off, like the Extra Small Multi Extender. I reckon Backlash Discs should be fine like that. How damaging is it?

*facepalm*
Well that requires a rebuild if I do say so myself. Totally forgot the whole one ant per motor thing. :P

Armor does not seem to important here as much as more blades. I will see what I can do with a chassis redesign, maybe a switch to Perm 80s and another motor or two and see where that goes. Probably will come tomorrow at some time.

Yeah not really... It takes about two minutes to kill anything. Far too long for a serious DSL bot. If my sister would get off the goddamned computer I could finish the new version of it and see how it does...

Ripper of Guts 2
2 Perm 132s
4 NPC Fasts
10 Ants
4 Mechavore Discs
Steel 3 (Maybe...?)
I've spent 5 hours today building sawbots. And this is my best. FML.

Remove 2 ants, get hypnos, that wedge looks like it fails (trust Night Terror for this)

...AND STEEL 3 ??? You have... is that roughly 2 years experience with DSL and you use STEEL 3 ???

Titanium 3
793.6
Changed wheels
Added horizontal stabilizers (it would tip over without the discs even running when turning)

If I remove 2 ants, its underpowered (8 ants for drive, 2 for the 2 motors)

1 Perm 132 = 1
1 Perm 132 = 1
1+1=2

1 NPC-T64 Fast =2 (Because we fully power the drive, right? Please say yes so I don't feel more stupid today...)
2x4 = 8
2+8=10

Oh wait this belongs in the general math thread...

NO !!!

At least, you don't need to fully power the drive. 2 ant batteries per spin motor is really when you have plenty of weight remaining. 1 per motor is minimum, but 1 1/5 is fine (aka 3 ants for a 2WD rammer)

OK so if I take off 2 batteries (or 4 possibly), any suggestions to use for the weight?

Nope there is a microscopically thin but strong-as-steel carbon fiber nanotube holding it. Its one micron across, so you cannot see it. Nearly impenetrable

Happy?
