I went back to the bot to replace the wedges and after I put 120cm alu sheets on... AGOD. So I exported/imported. That didn't work, so I did this:

>Delete all wedges and wheels, including motors
>Pause
>Attach both metal hinges and skirts
>Garage
>Unpause
>Back
>Didn't work
>Repeat 10 times
>This photo

(Image removed from quote.)

Is there nothing else I can do?

Rebuilding might help.  It worked for one of mine.  Otherwise I'd stick with the original wedges, if they're free of AGOD.  Skirts tend to be very prone to AGOD even if they're not used for wedges.

Try and export your bot in robot designs, then import it in a different team slot.

So I exported/imported.

Already tried that. Sorry if I didn't make it clear.

Also, I tried rebuilding and only one wedge had AGOD. I'll keep trying.

DP. I thought I'd update this.

Making an entirely new bot with the same chassis and nothing else in it except for the wedges (and using the pausing/unpausing method) yielded the exact same results. I retried multiple times and still it happened.

I got extremely annoyed by this, and so tried to attack the problem from a different angle. I imported the bot with the non-AGOD wedges (with mini-wheels) and simply deleted the wedge pieces and left the halfsheets. If that didn't work, I was going to scrap the bot. Surprisingly, there was absolutely no AGOD at all. SUCCESS! :)

With the extra weight, I managed to upgrade the armour to plastic 3 and get hypnos on it. That made the total weight to about 397kg.

I really don't want to continue with this bot in case I pull any more hair out, so what should I do next?

Not quite finished the rammer, which somehow turned into a CW :L

But there's a problem. It's front-heavy and so does a forward roll pretty much every time it hits an opponent. Is there a way to combat this?

i think you can put a plow on a skirt hinge on the front to kill forward rolls(but you have to own the collision mesh-less version).

Add some wheel guards that act as stabilizers (like ReStocked Big Dog or whatever it's called) and that should do the trick.

Well I sorted out the Rammer (which was my randomiser, just converted into a CW for CFAB).

So I was dicking around with Nar AI today and I built this.

Plastic 1. The rest you can see.

I named it Wilkinson's Sword because Razers/Razors, but I should have called it 'Come Fly with Me'. Why? Because it's massively unstable, that's why. I'm talking jumping around like a frog on speed. What stupid thing have I done now? Because this was one of the few bots I've built that's original and I'm semi-proud of.

1WD = fail

and no gauche he doesn't need a plow to be more stable. Just stabilizers.

Maybe you could remove the angle sheets for Alu 1, possibly?

Remove the angled sheets, and with the weight gaines, add poly skirts on the underside from the halfsheets, so they make a kind of cross formation. That might give you the stability you're looking for. With the weight remaining, you could extend the anti-immobilisation skirt on the top, or possibly up the armour. Underside halfsheets aren't TOTALLY invincible.

What? I'm confused. I'm using invincible halfsheets right now. Or is that what you mean by angled sheets?

EDIT: Derp. You mean the ones on the top. Silly me. And sorry TRB, I thought you meant the halfsheets :3

Will try now. Thanks NFX =]

it means that some strong hits go through the halfsheet and hits the chassis.
