Something in me thinks that the wheel (base?) isn't wide enough...but I've never actually built a MW drum, so feel free to disregard. :P

Personally, I don't like bots that are invertible and have a wedge. If you get flipped over, it's a massive hinderance more than anything. I think the weight would be better spent on armour, drive or weaponry, but that's just me. I would really try and make this invertible, though, try using the Small Drum components instead of the medium, to give you a lighter and therefore faster weapon setup, and upgrade the motors to NPC Fasts. That might solve your turning issue.

An update on the drum. It kills all AI except those pesky HS who get one swipe at the chassis and KO. Oh and Tempest which won on points :rage:





Also, IRL HW flipper with two judge bursts.

It's not IRL, since the two flipper bars go through each other. Yes yes, I know these titanium extenders are supposed to be welded IRL, but it isn't. Hell it's not even realistic. If you want to be realistic just make it with one more powerful burst.

Also that's not an IRL wedge setup...

Yes, IRL : but it cannot be implemented in RA2.

Though I suppose you could just shorten the overlapping Ti extenders until they just touch each other. It would mimic a two pronged and two burst flipper, even while being 2 different flippers in RA2.

But the best mimicking would still be just one single arm made to look like a two pronged arm, attached to a single flipper.

Any way to make this but realistic? (the weapon overlaps the weapon motor itself)



Also, this is shown with light DSL teeth because I tried to see if that would stop it from overlapping. This originally had razors.

Longest Perm has been used. I'll try the other idea; in hindsight, I don't know why I didn't do that in the first place.... :gawe:

It IS constructive advice, you just didn't understand it. Do you think I wouldn't give constructive advice in showcases when I complain about the constructive part of most posts in these ? Okay, the "lol fail" part wasn't, but the rest was pretty constructive.

And I was not mocking you. My last post was criticism aimed at your bot.

What I meant, if you didn't get my message, that the collision mesh of weapons is really small compared to the collision mesh of the flails. Therefore, an enemy weapon might hit the flails BEFORE or WITH the weapons. If you get your flails ripped off before your weapons, you have failed at weapon setup.

Anyways, 16 kg of weapon weight isn't enough. Just use razors and a less bulky, more handy to work with motor (ala Magmotor)

Much better efficiency wise, though it's still ghey (flail spam) and looks quite a lot like Final Z.
