If your building for Blades of Fury, don't use flails. If your not, razors are most commonly used.

Razorz increase the amount of "piercing" damage the weapons placed on them do, and, as razorz have such high piercing values, razorz are the best choice to put on flails.

Anyway, built a robot call Typhoon Mir (a play on words of Tornado Mer). BUT I CANT BEAT LOCK NUT!!!! What do I do?

Only needs 3 ants, chassic an be smaller, use a tribar or shorter DSL Bars.

Not a tri-bar, stick with a DSL bar, but yes shorter.
Or even better, switch to a Large disc and give it much moar weaponry.

And another thing; is Tempest considered to be realistic? Because I'm pitting my bot against him and I want to know if my bot's effective against a realistic or overpowered bot.

DSL bots are about as good as realistic bots.

Tempest seems like a good opponent, most irl bots are a little under that in power/weapons.

Get rid of the front bit on the chassis and move the ants, 2 of them can be put inbetween the weapon motor and shorten the bar.

Shorten the bar and maybe have some skirts sticking out of the bot to aid stability.
