It is a VS, and a VS with a somewhat unusual weapon attachment. Doesn't look that bad, though, I like it.

They are the weapon motors mainly, so weapon motors are better.

Cool, but move the exterior E-Teks to the end of the DSL bars so they're less exposed to VS.

It'l bend more actually. And the weight distro. on the motors is what allows the weapons to spin.

I would have mounted them directly to the shell segment. But then again you're an infinitely better builder than me so you probably have a reason. :P

I would but then the weapon won't hit as well. In testing, nothing knocks them off due to the crazily powerful weapon.
