Chassis starts at same height for both bots.
EDIT:
Better than GK since 2009.

Maybe, however the first will take longer getting onto its wheels where the second can drop and speed off with less chance of tipping, etc

The thing is, the leaning chassis counteracts the forwards pull of the weapon. Otherwise this design just flips over.

I would agree with Craaig too but in testing, this works better.

I think it may be the chassis weight positioned slightly further back having something to do with it, rather than a vertical chassis. But the turnspeed is going to suffer, I found this out with Downfall II today. I wonder if dropping down one material and having larger panels would help the tipping issue at all.

you know there is a stupidly easy solution to VS tipping at the start of matches (something I wish I knew in CC2 for obvious reasons)

its called the 'range' value :D

if a VS starts driving forward before spinning the weapon rather then spinning the weapon when being dropped into the arena it fairs so much better...

this is what I did with the VS robots in CC3 (anyone notice no starting tumbles ?)

What I'm trying to explain is tipping is not a problem. Everyone's advice is on how to stop tipping.
Can I have advice on setup instead?

I never said it was in reference in your bot.. people were just talking about how to stop tipping so I gave the solution...

LOL

Nice bot. Are the extenders there to stop it from getting stuck on it's side?

LOL. =D Well done to you.

Maybe you could replace the extenders with light DS teeth on the central attachment point of the discs if it's prone to balancing on its wheel.

I don't have the weight. Also, it's a really powerful Torque Reaction hammer.

I wouldn't count casters as wheels.  They have base = Component, not Wheel.

But cool bot anyway.  Is it really that powerful?  With one razor tip on carbon extenders?

It's not even valid.

Jonzu you should change your rule to "mobility must be provided by 2 powered wheels at least" or something. People are really being fags with it.

I am all for the use, abuse, bending and mocking of rules if it is done in an intelligent fashion and if the result is interesting.

Crawlers, however...
