The current version is flawed, I will make a better concept later.
Better than GK since 2009.

I'm going to make something similar for COTT, but non-SnS. I fear I will have a fail wedge, but it's better and more original than being a clone whore and enter 2 multibot flippers :P

@J24: You only entered one flipper ;)

@Nary: I came up with the idea. So I get a pass on the cloning thing
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

I know but i still dont like him dissing multibots

Anyway BOT, im not really sure but if the wedges are going to work by spinning under the opponent shouldn't they have to work sideways instead of outwards?

Experimenting with SnS bots brought an idea to my mind.

Instead of any kind of weapons, it would have wedges desinged to hit enemy bots from the side and lift them up, hopefully throwing them oota or immobilizing them.

Something like this:

Care to try?

That was my original idea but have wedges at 90 degrees means that bots hit the outside of the wedge. I'll have to experiment more but I think 45 degrees will be best.
Better than GK since 2009.

I tried putting wedges on SnS numerous times in the past.  They never worked.

OK, new conceptual version can outwedge decent bots (But not things like HnM 4)

I don't think that's really 'outwedging'. The flipper's quite narrow so you can easily knock it off its wheels. I did one way back then (it had skirt hinges, but it still applies) and the wedges just hindered the effectiveness of the weapons.

Well, you managed to make it work :O

And yeah, that's more flank-wedging than out-wedging. But good job still.

Yeah, so your "outwedging" is only from the front?
I always had it as "getting under the opponents" like having a single wedge beating a double wedge by going through a gap in the wedge

For me, outwedging is a wedge getting under another wedge.

OK, still, this is "getting under the opponent" which is still good.

Well, what your bot did was have the skirt slide under the bot's side. As you can see, the bot's side wasn't meant for sliding under. You just slid under it, but that wasn't outwedging it.
