Could have lighter stabiliser work if you ask me, and that drive seems weird, doesn't it drive weirdly because of it?
It drives fine.

I actually had extra weight so that's where the motor gaurd came from, that and a 400 HP motor like that is a sitting duck otherwise.
Also, probably too slow.

I don't think I've ever seen a LW VS with anything above astros for drive. :P

S Cargo.

The bot looks good though.  I'm trying to figure out how the Perm is attached... but I can't.

1/2 sheet --> Polycarb extender -->\ Perm
                                                          -> Sheck panel

Ooohhhh I see it now.  Clever.  That's why the Perm needs to be so high.

It does look extremely similar to Omnivore, which is probably why people thought it was yours.

I voted for it.  Even though it does look quite tippy, with the fast drive and high center of gravity.  It's a cool design and hard to pull off on a MW.

Wow Click and Joe voted for me.  :bigsmile:
[gloating/]

It's stable when the counterweight is on the ground. (Don't ask me how. I just got lucky)

Can anyone tell me how to AI this. I forget how to use the SOW AI.  :confused:

SOW AI is for bots with a horizontal turret.  For this you would need Kheper.py or something similar.  However Kheper.py is rather difficult to use... what do you want to AI it for?

Oh... I though it mean Servo Operated Weapon and it could be used for clamps. :P

I want to AI it mostly because it's hard to drive/use the weapon at the same time and I want to know how to AI something like this.

So where could I find Kheper.py? And is it really that hard to use?

The py can be found in here https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/Kheper.zip

And it's hard to use because the start and end rotation angles in the .py are specific to Kheper.  So you need to make a copy of the .py and edit those angles if you want to use it for another bot.

*digs up old picture*

This is how the angles are oriented on Kheper... but it will be different depending on how the servo is rotated.

That bot is going to be sloooowwww. It might get flanked really easily. I would cut some weaponry and get at least grippier wheels.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

That does look a bit overweaponed to me. Kinda like WAT4 on steroids. I would definitely consider dropping some weaponry, upgrade the drive, try to make it invertible as well. And raise the discs off the ground, if they're not off the ground already.

I'd recommend getting hollow discs in order to get slimbodies.

Looks quite nice, I'm just wondering if the drive is a bit overkill. I'd like to know the internals/armour/weight as well, that would help decide what was going on. =]
