Why not make a tiny corner on the chassis to connect the NPC Fast, so that it's consider internal (unbreakable) while 75% of it is sticking out?

NPC+ Techno is to hard for me to drive.

I found a good balance between Hammer setups 2 30 Kg and 1 60 kg

It doesn't looks bad, but maybe would be better with a longer wedge and a more trap-ish setup (V-or U-shaped weapon setup)

I am not sure about that heavy extender work as well. You could also try just a skirt hinge to hold the 3 hammers, maybe more for caster armor-style protection.

Nice heavy weight, Do those *insertnameofspikeshere*  drag on the floor? the Duel Perm may be overkill, i would use a 6 mag. does it drive straight?
Middle weight, you could shrink the chassis a bit, and the setup looks good, looks like it could win quite a lot. May i add it might will do well in my tourney? also again, does it drive straight?
These bots can will most of the time always destroy mine!

Nice.
I... I think I've quit. Lurking and posting where I feel it's needed from time to time. I was never particularly good, but I tried. Never really succeeding, but trying all the same.

I've been working on a way to get rid of those pesky shell spinners. I know it probably looks kinda sloppy right now.

Name: The Spin Stops Here
Batterys: 4 PC625's and 1 ant
Weapons: 10 Beater bars on a beta burst
Drive: 2 Drive E-tek
Tite 3

It de-shell all shell spinners in Nar AI 2.3 and does decently against most SNS's and HS's. Fails against anything with a wedge becauses the wedges on it are bad.

Betas are bad for hammers. They have torque, not speed, and you need speed. Try JX Bursts.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

I suggest moving the motor as far back as possible.  That should provide extra stability to the bot.

Not to mention moving the motors back will increase the pressure on the wedge(s) and make them better. I had the same issue with a few revisions of one of my bots.

I tried that when I first built it but then I decided being able to piviot to get the weapon facing the other bot faster was more important than wedges.

Now time to go have fun with those multi extenders.

Seriously how many DSL HW hammers did Somebody built ? True they aren't very fast and multiple smaller bursts are a good option, but Betas are NOT bad for hammrs.

Oh hmm... I remember you ranting somewhere about unDEADBEAT and how its hammer was worthless because it was a Beta...

Hmm i said that ? Well that was probably a VERY long time ago, but i was wrong (probably did not built enough hammers at the time)

Undeadbeat (the original one) is bad because it has no wedge, next to no trapping capabilities and a very average weapon.

KLONE!!

plastic 3mm
4 ants

It works decently mostly subject to recoil effects and inability to wedge under anything at all. I'm undecided on what to do with the extra weight. (Somehow fit wedges on it or add heavyer weapons.)

EDIT: Should this even be in a DSL Showcase? It has NAR AI components and NAR AI is a different mod than DSL.

I see you have changed your forum name ;D

I do not think that NAR AI should have its own section because it is so piggybacked off of DSL and other packs.

About the bot... Needs a wedge, and uses GHEY parts.

I changed my forum name because everything on this forum that I ever posted in showed up in google when I searched my bots name.

No about the bot. I could easily build this with a perm 80 and it would be comparable.
