It isn't too bad, but it isn't the worst I've seen. It's probably better if you made the dustpan line up with the chassis or vise versa.

Instead of making the sides of the dustpan parts of the chassis, just make them skirts or DSL bars.. That should widen the dustpan enough so you can get bots in.

Thought about doing that, but I didn't want them to break off.

Yeah, I guess. I'll re-do it next time someone does an IRL MW tournament.

I like it except for that wedge at the front, it just looks awkward to me.

It just needed one, and I thought I'd try something different other than the "skirt on hinge" usual stuff.

So it needed the wedge for the weapon to work at all, or does the wedge just make it more effective? I know not everyone agrees with this, but the way I see it is that you shouldn't add things to an IRL bot just for the sake of effectiveness.
I can see where you're coming from, but I still think that it would be better off with a skirt hinge wedge that goes either side of the weapons rather than in between, or no wedge at all in order not to cover the skin.

It works without the wedge, just ineffectively. I think you've got to balance aesthetics with effectiveness in IRL, or else there'd be no competitiveness in IRL tournaments. I still agree that how it looks is more important, though.

implying you should be aiming to win in IRL and not just make something that looks IRL. But I know many disagree with me...

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying, unless you plan on entering a joke robot, that you should aim to make your robot somewhat competent, or there would be no reason for IRL tournaments to exist.

Anyway, imma stop before this turns into something bigger than what it really is.

Instead of a center wedge you should have two wedgelets on the chassis wedges. Same setup you have now, just shorter and better looking.

i would agree with a VS using axes in IRL if it looked cool enough.

This one however doesn't really look cool, and therefore using axes on a VS, as counterintuitive as it is, is pointless.

just so you know axes have normals => very bad for any kind of spinner.

Yeah, I know. I just liked how it looked, so I left it like that.
