Regarding the drum, I built something like that about a year ago, but its wedges sucked.  Yours are probably better though.

Personally, I find that having more individual weapons on gut-rippers is better; try a combination of small beater bars and small DS teeth.

You could probably get away with 6 ants on the hammer, but the output from the motors might not be as much.

It's not that much of a clone since it went from Stock HW to DSL MW :P

LURK MOAR  :rage I made a DSL MW Wammer with Strafe Drive and a DSL MW Flamethrower with Strafe Drive, shown just after Blitzkrieg won but were made before...

one massive issue with your clones of Crossfire and Crossroad is they are not invertible  ;)

the Drum is cool.. I dare say it reminds me of SB's entry in TWOC :P sorry and the hammer is pretty cool.. but yeah better weapons for it like Nary said.

cool stuff though.. I have become a regular visitor to your showcase.. something I don't do to many :P

@JoeBlo: The clones are invertable for what ever reason.  I think it has to do with the large colisin mesh of hypno wheels. :P
Thanks I didn't know my showcase was popular.

@NFX: The drum is invertable but looses most of it's effectiveness.

well thats questionable for realism but heck we already use invisible armour so why not invisible wheel grip too.... you should add some on Sheesh KaBot :P

Wish I could but I can't find the F12 key in my workshop so I don't know the current collision mesh of my wheels. :P

All wheels have a collision mesh that extends the same distance from the surface, IIRC. I thought it was something to do with resistance.

not collision.. the collision is the green mesh that sits tightly around the wheel itself .. the red mesh is where the grib is applied.. the stock wheels had quite small ones but some DSL ones have large.. 123 demonstrated this exploit but using the bike wheels on a crawler to allow perfect grip and drive

Is it really a crawler since it has wheels ?

lol your call mister crawler hater :P

but it only used the grip mesh... the wheels were concealed inside the "dome" components making the crawler weaponry

I wouldnt call it that myself, I see a FBD as this

https://gametechmods.com/TournamentFiles/botm/Jan10/008.png

the drum can be spun desperately without the drive.

but back on topic now,

Try and shrink the chassis a bit. It seems to be quite a large target right now.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

What angle did you use on the axles? I've had best luck with 90 degree ones for the extra sweeping power.

which font ? PhoenixOne ? I used that for my other website (non RA2 one)  :gawe:

but yeah you could get away with making a cross or 4 point star shape chassis (cloning Ounce IIRC :P)
