decided to go back and update some bots

tried to update Venum to make it longer in length and shorter in height, but any kind of change to the wheels makes the hammers hit the ground

then i gave up and went to work on MO since it was havok prone and i really wasnt sold on the flippers

replaced the beaters with steel extenders, now has 4 spike strips instead of 2 and is not as havoky. still probably cant self right though.

put beaters on the disc so it looks like it's reinforced. it still sucks combat wise but i kinda like it

Not your best work but the first one is okay.

Not your best work but the first one is okay.

runnin low on ideas. plus, angled stuff in general is pretty hard to do. probably gonna work on a flipper again soon

in the mean time...

left is new, right is old:

what's new
-'leg' of the bot is moved further back, does not block opponents from getting into the disc
-chassis is slightly thinner in width, slightly longer in length
-does not contain a boatload of ants in it
-two 'emergency' teeth on disc should hammers fall off too soon

i like the mw with CHAMBERRRRRED WHEEELS but the HW VS still looks dumb with the motor outside of the chassis.
also you should try not just using white/grey/black all the time for paint jobs on your bots man.

Cambered wheel flipper looks nice, but yeah, you should work on your skinning techniques.

well, they're the best colors to work with. I can only use paint, and you can't just post transparent logos, they come in big boxes which are usually white or black, if i try to recolor it looks really weird.

gay diesector klone

jaw works fine, not very strong but it's meant to crush and hold, not flip. not sold on the wheels, axes also do pretty terrible damage, might replace the steel extender with a DSL bar

so does it work? well i mean.

very dependent on opponent positioning

misfire a flip without anything on the flippers and it could be taking some punishment

but when it does work it works wonderfully
