Well then fix it !

I'm definitely going to make a tutorial on how to properly do extender work.

I suck at extender work.

Well, s'long as it's IRL, I'm happy with it.

Why would you put the multi's for the supports so far back when you can have them right where the supports are anyway, and this way you can angle them further and put them forward better. And you're still using angle connectors when flipper segments are better in every way.

After some testing, I decided that Guardian was having way too much difficulty winning matches. So I built a new SHW for BB7.

Meet, IMpact.

Armor is 3mm Plastic. The alu panels are there for motor protection.

It also has a srimech system in the form of two alu panels attached to two judge bursts.

Insides:

It also has motor support and full underside protection in case.

I'm really not quite sure if this is even IRL. I hope it is. Because I really don't want to enter Guardian.

Thanks! Just hope it's IRL. It's my most promising SHW so far.

I just realized that the srimech system was absolute garbage. Nonstop havoks and most of the time it didn't self right, it just did a little front flip then landed on it's back. Again.

So, I used the original srimech system Minion used. Had a bit of extra weight, decided to reinforce the motor extenders.

Now, if only there were any DSL SHW tournaments...

Ew uneven wheel spacing.
At least make it look less flimsy.
- thin metal skirts for srimech = not IRL EDIT: Much better, I like it.
- Invincible bottom armour = not IRL
- Unsupported weapon axles = not IRL
- Massive exposed wheels = not IRL

Also, how slow is it with ASTROFLIGHTS on a 1200kg bot?

Not trying to be mean, just saying my mind.

Speaking of Minion clones, take a look at what my interpretation was back in the day, might help explain my points.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

And instead of srimechs you could just make it straight up invertible.

Invincible bottom armor= Yea, I'm gonna remove one or two of 'em.
Unsupported weapon axles= I'll get on it, had a bit of extra weight anyways.
Massive exposed wheels= Whaddya mean it's not IRL? Electric Boogaloo had a wheels like this. And so do Overkill and Techno Destructo. No disrespect, but what's wrong?

They didn't have 6 of them making up over half of the hittable surface of the bot.

It's realistic, but not very practical. If you get a bot like my bot Ride The Lightning, those wheels are going to pop off really quickly.
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......

Updated IMpact. Addressed some of the issues.

Some. Not all.

I'm sorry Squirrel_Monkey, it just... I can't put any other wheel on there because it just looks weird with the whole discs setup larger than the bot itself. Not only that, but with any other wheel it goes REALLY slow. At least now it has supports.

And the srimech works like a dream.

Weapons don't really do that much damage actually. Either that or Second Sentinel has some really tough armor.

Extender work is still bad, and 6WD is doing it wrong.

Do you actually improve ?

no no no no no. Get rid of all the invincible halfsheets on the bottom. The slot housing the srimech looks ugly, as does the rest of the skin and the motor supports. Your wheels are too big for that design, the skirt wedge on the back doesn't fit, and it overall just looks ugly.

It's not really how many wheel drive, but the imbalance motor stat.  Everything MW and up revolves around NPCF, and maybe E-tek drive in a few occasions.
