By that I mean use an Etek or a perm 132, only one disc, and use the remaining weight on weapons. 40kg of weapons is not halfway enough for a slow, non-wedge VS by that. You need somewhere around 80-100 kg.

Updated. Again. Armor is steel 1mm.

Now, before you go on and tell me that steel is one of the worst armors I can choose, let me explain my actions.

I hate flamethrower bots. Absolutely despise them.

So by giving Hurricane steel armor it's my way of saying: "F*** YOU AND YOUR FLAMETHROWER"

Sorry got a little off topic there.

But anyways, here's the update.

Flamethrowers eat through all armors equally, you know.

also, more weapons. Yes, I must repeat myself.

The aluminum extenders serve no purpose, and you can just use multiextenders with everything.

You don't need your perm on a poly extender either, just attach it to the multi.

I thought Flamethrowers burned through Tit. and plastic armor faster?

More weapons... not enough weight.

Wouldn't that leave my bot more fragile?

It can't, half pf the perm will stick out the bot while the other half stays in. I can't put it on the chassis either because then the discs would be too high.

More weapons. also it needs motor protection. If you were able to tighten the support extender and got rid of some armor you should be fine.

you need to make the legs look more reinforced as well, they just look fragile atm.

I don't exactly have enough weight for any of those changes.

I thought Flamethrowers burned through Tit. and plastic armor faster? Steel armor is the strongest overall, but Titanium and Plastic have the best HP/weight ratios and therefore are better. Flamethrowers are equally effective against all armor, of course Steel 1 is more resistant than plastic 1 because it is heavier and therefore stronger... but not by much;.

More weapons... not enough weight. You're gonna get outweaponed by every single MW with a decent weapon loadout then, not to mention leave your disc more likely to be hit. You DO need more weapon kg's than 20kg on a MW VS, trust me. Sacrifice something that can be sacrificed without too much of a loss, and add more weapons.

Wouldn't that leave my bot more fragile?Technically yes, but the 2 alu extenders against the disc are hardly armor and serve no purpose. They don't even hold the disc, the motor does. If you want armor use skirts or plows. Besides, this is an elevated design and as long as you are stable, the bottom of the bot is gonna get hit more in overall.

It can't, half pf the perm will stick out the bot while the other half stays in. I can't put it on the chassis either because then the discs would be too high.Nonsense, you can. You just have to put the ME halfway through the front of the chassis and rotate it so the attachment point faces forward, and attach the perm to the ME so it's in front of the chassis but outside.

If you need weight you could probably shrink the chassis a little.

^^This, although if you get a smaller chassis it'll get lighter (of course), therefore having less hitpoints.

After being corrected by the all knowing Naryar, I hung my head in shame and lumbered back into the bot lab to correct my wrong doings. Armor is Tit. 1mm

Remove most the ant batteries, you only need 3. Right now your drive is super slow (Taz wheels aren't that grippy), you should upgrade to mags with vlad wheels. And if it is possible at all, I would try to get the weapon motor inside the chassis.

The ant batteries serve as a ballast, without them the bot goes flying. And the drive is made to be slow because the bot is VERY unstable. Turning is a very huge risk for it.

now you need to support that one axel (the one the disk is attached to, not neccesarily the whole motor) with some extender work because if you're building IRL it has to look like something you'd see in real life

and real life doesn't have floating axels.

If you set up good enough drive extender work, you won't need all that ballast.

You could still get Vlad wheels on there. And if you used multi extenders instead of baseplate anchors you could probably get more weapons.

Using medium beaters instead of hypno teeth could get you more weaponry too but that's your decision.

Naryar still has no idea how to build IRL. :P

Yeah keep the supports and angle the wheels forward a little. You shouldn't need as many batteries then.

I can't angle it anymore forward, the disc would keep hitting the ground making the bot even more unstable.
