The motors on the outside of the chassis with no protection would never be done irl, protection is a must for your motors if they are on the outside. You need sturdier looking support ''legs'' IMO as well because atm they just look weak being held on by 1 extender. And yeah, weapon support is a must.

I agree with everything said so far. You're definitely going to need more support/protection, but I like it a lot otherwise.

Updated.

Don't have anymore weight to play around with, had to switch back to Plastic 1mm, removed an ant or two as well.

You only need 4 ants. That will let you get atleast aluminum supports.

But the question now is, is it enough or does it need more extender work?

looks too DSLS for me

I can just see (irl) the weapons having so much torkz that when they hit one thing the entire weapon just shears off its own supports, it's so stupidly flimsy and skeletal. I don't think you'll be able to come up with a setup that makes the whole concept of the bot even minimalistically IRL.

You could make the case that it's like Nightmare or The Contender or even Hazard is close enough to the concept of the bot, but let's take a look at those three; Nightmare (even though its many disk malfunctions) is usually sturdy enough to spin up to full speed and take a huge chunk out of something and keep spinning. The Contender (SKBT's BB6 bot iirc) looks big and bulky and sturdy and more than strong enough to use the weapon that it has, and Hazard (or Last Rites even) does deal out strong hits and take the damage that it does and is sturdy enough to use its bar, but you gotta remember its bar is oriented horizontally and when it hits something the entire bot gets jolted the opposite way, and I can see something similar happening to this bot. Which leads me back to my first sentence; if something like this were to deal and take a force like that, it would tear off its own weapon and weapon support.

I'm not sure what you can do to improve it.

you might as well just put discs on the weapon motors and cover them in beaters and razors because that is certainly not irl. if someone tried to make that and enter it into the real-life battlebots (or whatever goes on today) it would shake itself apart from the minimal armor and flimsy axle supports.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Updated Storm, decided to name it Hurricane 2 instead. Do I need all these extenders though? Backlash didn't need this much support.

Aside from the crazy extender work, I like it. You could probably just use a shell panel or two to shield the weapon motor.

You would have a point, but Backash looks like it uses a motor with a belt (like a perm) or something similar and doesn't need as much support as one giant motor just there, and it's also a Lightweight.

Considering the fact that you do have one bigass motor just hanging off of the chassis I think that's fair enough for support.

While I like the aesthetic, I can't help but feel that if you simply mounted the flipper so that the arm is attached through the top (nearer the back of the robot) the flipping ability would be increased.

You still can't get extender work right... fine I'll help

The rear extender work can be replaced by one 40cm skirt or maybe 2. You flipping arm is also too long.

also the judge burst is not only a cheat piece it is also far too powerful for a LW.
