First off, Judge Bursts are cheatbot2 components, which are not allowed in most DSL-Standard (effective building) tournaments. Change them to either 2 BSG-200s or one JX (a single large JX should be fine). Second, use more than two spike strips (use 4-6) and please provide us with an inside shot of EVERY bot.

I've already told this to TBD Devastator and I will tell it to you too: I honestly don't care/worry about the skin of the bot until the components are in the correct/ideal position. Then again, I prefer DSL-S to DSL IRL.

If you're aiming at realism, keep it the same. If not, listen to Rif. It all depends on your style.

Helloface - Im aiming at realism and the one problem I have about non cheatbot flippers is that they are drasticly underpowered.  So i feel using judge bursts makes it feel like the days of chaos 2. I do not intend to enter these bots in tournaments, although there is Jonzu's tournament coming up.

Rnifnuf - ALPHA Radiation was built after advice on Irradiated Beast.
I might be some time.

Judges are okay, they are allowed in most IRL competitions, but you may want to make the bot slightly larger to fit the wheels and NPCs in the chassis. That would make it look better.

Great job here  :thumbup The only thing I can suggest is changing the control board to a blue control board. Not that the extra 1kg will matter here, but it can sometimes matter and it's a good habit to get into.
I assume it is a MW powered by Judge Burst?

EDIT: Also, can we have a non-fail pic of it please ? :)

If you are using judge bursts... don't. They're cheat components.

Make it so it has a smaller chassis... maybe get it 2 flipping arms.

Why wouldn't he use Judges on an IRL robot? It's legal in most tournaments.

Because they are cheat components, and far superior to any other burst in the game for only a very low weight and a normal power consumption. Hence unbalanced.

Because they encourage lazy design in IRL flippers, due to them being game breakers.

The low weight is somewhat counterbalanced by the fact you need to put at least 30kg on them, so all Judge flippers are going to be at least 65kg. You could probably get two BSG flippers in for about that weight so I'd say it's not a huge imbalance.

It's not like everything is perfect in DSL2 anyway, there's plenty of examples of inbalance.
