Just finished building another Twisted Metal robot.  This time entering the arena is Spectre.  In Twisted Metal, Spectre is always a white or blue american sports car with racing stripes, usually a Corvette Stingray, other times a Dodge Viper or a Plymouth Superbird.  I built this middleweight of the same name with a similar style in mind.  It's main weapon is a very strong flipper, capable of throwing opponents halfway across the arena floor.  It also is a low profile bot making it hard for most other middleweights to hit.  The only real weaknesses it has is that is a low damage robot and it's low ground clearance has gotten it high-centered on ramps.

Razorback learning the hard way what happens if Spectre ever gets underneath you.

the cheatbot2 control board is wholly pointless. just make it a regular CB

and the ugly flipper makes me sad :(
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Here is my latest Lightweight to be spawned from the garage, Fast Forward.  Fast Forward is a two-wheel drive rammer built with only thing in mind, using it's speed, maneuverability, and extreme pushing power to bully any other lightweights around the arena.  It's strengths are it is extremely fast (hence the name), has great pushing power which it can use to shove it's opponents into the nearest wall, and it is invertable.  The only real weakness I can think of is that Fast Forward has a high ground clearance when upside down.

You can't get better drive for Spectre?

They both look cool regardless.

Afraid so.  Any other motors would either be too big or too weak to get it moving.

OK I've decided to reveal my heavyweight for Battlebots 6.  It's Death Warrant.  I chose Death Warrant for it's flipper and axe make a deadly combination in the Battlebox and it should go far.  If it doesn't, so be it.

Been a couple of days since I've posted, so here is my first heavyweight drumbot here in the garage, Aries.  It's name comes from the latin word for ram and the name is fitting for what Aries does.  Aries is a four-wheel drive robot with a spinning drum as it's main weapon which it can use to tear up other robots and get under them to slam them into the wall.  The initial design for Aries was supposed to resemble the 4.0-5.0 versions of the Battlebots middleweight Little Drummer Boy but the design did not work very well as Aries was slow and an easy target for the competition.  Aries's strengths are it's destructive drum that can also be used to flip other robots, it's great pushing power, and it is invertable.  The weaknesses of this robot are the wheels are exposed to overhead weaponry and the armor is basic (3mm Aluminum).

EMPTY SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

There, it needed to be done. You need more weapons and a less hilariously huge chassis.

Here is my latest creation. First time using an Overkill wedge, usually I build my own.  What this wedge is attached to, is Slammin' Steel.  Slammin' Steel is a four-wheel drive rammer that uses it's wedge to slip right under other robots who then get caught on the row of beater bars at the top of the wedge.  As a result, Slammin' Steel can take it's opponents where ever it sees fit.  Strengths - fast and maneuverable, low ground clearance when right side up (can slide under anti-wedge devices), it is extremely durable (5mm Steel, hence the name), and the fact it is invertable.  Weaknesses -  When upside down, the wedge is completely useless and Slammin' Steel must resort to the push bar on the back and the wheels are exposed.

Looks too thin for those wheels, they just look out of place and too wide to be practical IMO.

There's nothing really fundamentally wrong with it.

I mean, it's simple and it works.
