The SHW from the same team as the previous 2

SHW-Grape Ape. This thing is 4wd etek with moe motors powering the drum, so its a tank ready when chewing up bots.

Looks badass as always. I'd flip the back wedges 180 degrees so they're even with the ground when the bot's right side up.

Very nice job. What set up did you use to make the drum that way?

hey sorry for bumping such an old thread and i hope scrap sees this but i wanted to ask if you'd help me with a little how-to on how you effe-up all these awesome rollcages and supports and things. ive spent the past two days reading this thread just about from front to back taking inspiration because this is literally what i aim for in my bots. i just lack the patience and time nowadays to mess around and expiriment as much as i used to and ive got maybe 4 whole teams worth of unfinished or abandoned bots because i always hit a wall somewhere or can't pull off exactly what i really want my bot to look like. i'm so inspired by this thread but i'm just at a loss on how to pull a lot of these things off. ive already been motivated to re-learn how to skin again but ive only got paint to work with because i cant use my own computer for robot arena...

please, my brother, would you help pass the torch to a nigga? :baffled:
you wont regret it...

thank you based god  :redface::heart_smiley:

hahah you're too kind my friend. I really appreciate the kind words, but trust me, i have teams full of unfinished bots too. Sometimes that's just what works, I sit on designs for weeks at a time and then come back and it works out.

If you ever wanna bounce some ideas off each other or need some tips on skinning, im down. I abandoned the skype group for like a month and came back now and its pretty much dead, but i still talk to myself there sometimes.

I was shocked to see a post in my thread, though. I've been cookin in the lab for the past few weeks but havent finished anything. youre making me want to post something lol

Agreed. Also, a "How to build a great IRL bot" tutorial from Scrap would be cool.
