Can it self-right?

Nope, but I knew it wouldnt be able to so I made it super stable.

They just aren't strong enough. They don't lift the bot at all.

Why don't you remove them then, or replace them with a JX?

Would changing the chassis armor to 5mm plastic give you enough weight to add another ant battery?

3mm tit > 5mm plastic?

the weight is 793.7... so yes it would. But would it help?

5mm plastic > 3mm tite

I don't know how many batteries you have in there now, but try adding a battery and see if it makes a difference.

I meant weight wise... how would changing to a higher mm help me gain weight?

For simplicity, let's just assume that

Plastic 3, 5, 10
Titanium, 1, 3, 5, 10
Steel 5

Are all the same.  They give close to or = 60 HP per KG.

Increasing armor class increase the KG used.  If your chassis weights 100 kg, using any of the above armor type, then it has roughly or = 6000 HP.

Well, should post it in my showcase, seeing as it had quite the run BBEANS.

And it's nice to post something in my DSL showcase.

I hope not... stock needs as many good builders as it can get.  The stock section is kind of dead right now.  (Though that probably has to do with the lack of stock tournaments.  I've noticed that the number of people posting either stock or DSL bots tends to fluctuate with which tournaments are in signups (particularly BBEANS).  Since BBEANS6 just happened and was DSL LW, and Clash Cubes IV is on the horizon and is also DSL LW, the DSL showcase should stay lively for some time yet.)

That's true. We really do need another big Stock tourney to get things going over there again.

And I think DOA2 looks like a very good robot. Maybe the chassis could be narrowed slightly? Or does the BSG collision mesh mess that up?

Making it narrower would be a bad idea, since it would be harder for it to flank stuff.

He could just make it narrower at the back, and have it widening towards the front for maximum flankage.

Well, I learned something new. LW popups don't need more than Mag drive to beat shell :P

I don't like the asymetrical-ness of the weapon though.

@NFX: Narrower at the back would mean narrower drive, hence less turnspeed. It's fine like that.

I'm imagining that's beater bars on the weapon. What are the side panels on the left used for?
