And how will I afford 4 Taz Weapons, 4 BSG's, enough battery to power the thing and be left with 800 KG, and still be combat effective, maybe for a SHW but now I'm focusing on the HW.

Well, a HW flipper can have 8 BSGs easily.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

BTW 4 BSGs are better that 1 Beta.

Not when you are using taz weapons. They're 60 kg IIRC, how can you expect a BSg to lift 60 kg with enough power to flip well ?

Oh, i always remembered it being lighter. Maybe 2 large JXs?

Actually 4 BSGs and the battery power needed (12 ants) are lighter and more compound than 1 beta and it's 3+ necessary PC625's...

But this is no design for BSGs.

2 large JX's is also possible but will be better with three.

2 large JXs wouldn't be enough.  I think it would be best to use 3 large JXs and 3 weapons (a la Mercurius, but it didn't have the best flipping power IIRC).

Also, Tazbot weapons weigh 50 kilos, so yes S_M is right about them being lighter, but they're still too heavy for a BSG.
Tournament Record: 94 Wins - 50 Losses
Challenge Record: 2 Wins - 2 Losses

I tried the Angular wedges and they turned out just how I thought, utter crap. They glitch under the arena floors and have a weirder mesh. ..
Take a look...

They cant even get under the lockers in the test garage.

I'll try again tomorrow, too tired of rebuilding everyone of my good showcased bots.

WRONG

BSG/R (0 35 60 -24.5) 25kg and 1.717 e/kg, 40.925kg and 1.466 e/kg with ant
Beta Burst Spring (20 11 350 -210) 80kg and 2.117 e/kg, 216.6kg and 1.617 e/kg with ant

Not only do BSG have LESS torque/kg before and after adjusting for ants,  4 BSG only provides 240 torque while 1 beta 350.

So you just have to deal with the fact that Beta is way better at flipping.  It's the enormous size and base only connection that make it suck.

The second is debatable.. you can have a burst poke out of the top of the robot that is indestructible..

No there's no debate, that thing has 400 HP.  Which means it smokes up in 1 hit.

You also cannot stick anything out except for the hinge, which is like every other motor in the game.  Alll the other stuff you see sticking out are just graphics.  They have no real collision mesh.

How come in testing, 4 BSGs flip higher and further than 1 beta? Just ask Vertigo, he's made loads of flippers.
Better than GK since 2009.

Hey weird stuff happens in this game.  And if there's one thing I know it's that numbers can mean nothing.  Like literally some numbers does nothing at all.

Listen, the reason I don't use BSGs for that bot is because I use taz weapons for it, how many times do I have to say it? I will make one using Large JX's to see if they are any better but if I hear any more talk about BSGs I will stick a gun in my mouth
